Yellow/brown spots, 3 weeks of flowering (yes, another one of these!)

Tested soil pH. Solid 6.5-7. Can't test runoff right now, the soil is still very moist.

I think she is looking healthy, imo. She definitely seems to be budding more..

Any thoughts? Hard to see the freckles kinda but they're there. I also checked for bugs, I don't see anything and the other girl is scott free of any kind of similar symptoms so I really don't think there is any unwanted guests.

About the holes at the bottom, it is hard to tell if it is "salty" or not because the bottom is perlite. I don't notice any kind of residue.

Easier to see the freckles when she is under the light. When I look at them underneath the leaf, they all appear to occur next to a vein of some kind. None just out in the middle of a chlorophyll area.

If my mind isn't playing tricks on me, the freckles have gotten better, as in there is less of them. Maybe it is just optimism playing tricks on me but I'll keep an eye on it.

Checking them once over before I go to bed, these fucking spots are now starting to appear on the sugar leaves. They are appearing near the tips of the leaves right near the veins. Very very small brown dots almost. They look like small rust spots on the leaves, visible from both sides of the leaf(the worst ones at least). Almost unnoticeable if I take it out of the HPS light and look at it with CFL.

No one has ever seen rust spots like these before?

came across this during a search. Very similar description to what I'm facing. Thing is, I put dolomite lime in the soil.

Possible I didn't put enough? Foliar feeding with epsom salt sounds like it can't be a terrible idea.. would take her away from the light for a bit to do it.

I just wanted to check back and see if you had made any progress, it looks like you might be right (Mg def) if your Ph is good. I like to start at the basics though when I have problems, some plants I have grown just seem to need more cal/mag than others it seems. Also you will notice that some pheno's will take to a higher feeding schedule than others and getting that right just comes with experience. If your correct a folair feeding will help pretty quickly but in any case I would always start light and work my way into it. Good luck and happy growing.

looks like mite's to me but my eye's are not the greatest.mites are real hard to see when they are young and by the time you start seeing adult's they are fucking everywhere.

You have to understand there is another girl right next to this one who has zero of these issues. Like, shes literally on top of the other one. The closet is too small for both of them honestly. I really don't think it is mites.

It looks like mites man... Do you foliar feed? Some people can never see mites, triple check! Look for white dots underneath the leaves, not on top.

I looked under the leaves. All the rust spots are occurring near the leaf veins and they seem to bleach through the leaf.

Spider mites are white, and they always lay eggs near the leaf veins. Get a magnifier and check em out playboy.

Tonight I will check again for them.

The more research I do the more I think it is a Mg deficiency though. I am not crossing out any possibilities and will consider mites a possibility.

That is a magnesium def... very common at this stage. If you never wanna experience this again start supplementing with calmag right when you flip your lights to 12/12

Post a pic. The first pic you posted is deffinetely looking like mites. The latest pic looks like 100% mag def. Got any later pics?

Your def has already set in by the time the plant show symtoms of it. Start supplement with calmag and the yellowing will stop. Won't happen overnight but eventually she will regain health. I have studied the effects of mag defs in mj for more then 2 years and that is def a mag def. Don't over do the calmag or youll just end up burning your ladies

I would recommend general organics calmag over botanicares calmag.. IMO it just seems to work better

I already include Magical (technaflora brand of calmag) with every feeding. Should I increase that to every watering?

I'm going to foliar feed with epsom (1/2 tsp/gallon?) tonight.

I'm thinking I have the same issue. A buddy recommended I foliar feed with Sea Mag and Sea Cal. Epsom is a good option too.
