Yellow and Wrinkley Blueberry

How does this girl look to you guys? She sprouted about 10 days ago...

slow down on the watering. and it'll perk back up.

Yeah, well... about 18 hours ago...

dont worry.. it will be ok just make sure the leaves perk back up before watering.. even when they do, you might want to wait a little longer.

Well, I was worried before, but now... even more... I have three of these all with brand new soil I bought with the new grow... they are all yellowish at the bottom and this one is just, well whatever is wrong with it...

I don't know that it's overwatering, it was watered about 96 hours ago and is still looking sad... I've included a few pics of the plant and one of the moisture meter...

Is it possible that after 12 days they need feeding?!

That soil is to strong for seedlings.
I will bet that it has some strong time released nutes in it and that your initial over watering has released to much nutrients into the new plant.
Always buy proper seedling soil and mix it 80% soil and 20% perlite.
Blueberry hates nutes even when its an adult

A problem I've witnessed is chemical fertilizer soil mixes damaging seedlings. Try organic potting soil.

It's 2 parts soil (Organic Potting soil) 1 part moss and 1 part Perlite... I think you're probably right about the slow release nutrients though... is the only thing left to do is wait for it to clean itself out, or is there something I can do to help her out?

If it was mine and i had only a few seeds or only one plant i would pull it up and soak the soil off of the roots in clean room temp water and then replant it in seedling specific soil.
I only use cheap soil from the supermarket but i buy the correct one for each phase.
I only buy plain un-nuted seedling peat for seedlings.
Might not affect other plants so harshly but all of my blueberry and their crosses hates nutes and i have always burnt them so far with nutes to varying degrees

if it was nute burn shorley the leaves would be burnt?the fact the leaves are yellow and deformed suggests a nute deficiency or some kind of desease!

Give it a few days and those leaves will be nute burnt

Blueberry is such a pussy somtimes.. that plant has pissed me off more times than i can count.

if its your first grow, you for sure shouldnt do blues..

So you're thinking definitely nute burn?

Looks like the soil is to strong for it to me.
But i may be wrong as i am not there.
Its my best guess
Its unlikely to be deficient after a few days in fresh organic soil.

well, I got some new fresh organic soil, no crazy slow-release nutrients... I washed the roots and moved them to the new mixture... 3 parts soil, 1 part Perlite... never been so terrified, ever... we'll see what happens...

I'd say it has a lot to do with the strain. Blueberry is very unforgiving. It needs perfect conditions to grow well...It will die in conditions hardier strains would thrive in.

Also a lot to do with me being crap at this... I have a couple others going besides the blue and they are all screwed up too... I think I made a stupid mistake with the soil...
