hey

Im in 4th weeek of flower and the bottom near the soil is yellow and drooping and has some crispy spots.. today I flushed the pot under constant running water to clean out the fertilizer i'v been useing since the 1st week of flower. I water every other day and give time for soil to dry before I water again. what cause be causeing this issue???!!!>?

Do you use a mositure meter? This is the best way to tell when it is time to water. I have also found that my plants use less water in flower. Do you ph test?

normal for lower leaves to yellow in the 4th week of flowering.. If you are watering every other day, you are MOST LIKELY watering to much.. you need to increase the amount of water you are using at each watering... ... increase quanity and reduce frequency.. this correct method of watering will give you a GREATER root ball and bigger plants and BUDS..

No dont use a meter, and have not ph tested cause the water i have been using from day 1 of veg has proved fine..till now, but i'll get the fertilizer info on this thread tomorrow for what Iam using, which im sure its not up to par cause i got it at a local flower shop. but what i have been doing is 400ml's of water every other day.

time to get a pH meter.. some times the soil and water mixture will make the perfect pH ... but after a few waterings, the soils pH will become the same as the waters pH...

for example.. if you grow with MG soil you can water with 8.0 water for the first few waterings because MG soil has a ppH of 5.1.... but after a few waterings, the water will have to be switched to 7.0....

or else the plant will get FUGLY..

pH testers are very very cheap.. like $4.00

yea the fertilizer is 9-59-8 ferti-lome says blooming and rooting. but i am going to get the ph tester today.

ok I also just ran a ph test for the first time and it looks like it is at 7.. its been 2 days since i have watered 2nd'day and the drain on the bottom of the pot and the top of the soil show dry. and its even more droopy than before.!

lol its ok buddy, thats normal. As long as only the larger fan leafs are tunring yellow and drooping you have no problem. I repeat... this is normal, do not try mouth to mouth, or give it 200% nutes lol. Everything is fine. However if the leafs around the bud are turning yellow, then you have a problem. But as long as its just the shade leafs, you are good. They will turn yellow, droop, and fall off  lol just part of them growing up : )

Grow on buddy, grow on : )
