What's an ideal grow spot in the home

Closet! !!!!!

Doing my first grow in a closet 2' x 8' in the basement atm. My 2nd grow I will upgrade to 8' x 4' tent, and keep it in my basement, it's the ideal spot for me.

Someplace that is stealth and doable for temp control. IN my case it is a tent in my home office. No one else goes in there and it has its own AC and heat.

Backyard... IMO

If you wanna buy a grow tent you can do it anywhere that's not obvious, but then again when it smells up without a carbon filter it's always obvious lol

Ideal?

A large, unfinished basement that can be divided into two rooms. 3/4 should be designed to be for your flowering room, which needs to be sealed off 100% from any external light leaks. The other 1/4 should be for your veg area and for your Mother/clones. Light leaks aren't as critical here.

The basement is ideal because below 4', the temperature remains extremely stable, so temps and humidity is far easier to control.
