Yahoo Runs Fraudulent Story On Front Page?

This may just be me overly stoned, but check this article out that Yahoo just started running on they're homepage: http://rivals.yahoo.com/highschool/blog/prep_rally/post/Iowa-pitcher-turns-heads-with-fastball-and-softb?urn=highschool-wp1001

I started checking out the comments on the article & everyone is trying to figure out what the initials of the license plate means, etc. Cameron Smith -- the writer states;
"
When it comes to devotion, few can claim to rival Fremont-Mills (Iowa) High senior Mindy Lorimor's commitment to softball. To judge the teen's priorities, one need only take a glance at her car: A bright yellow Volkswagen beetle, painted with softball-red stitching. The license plate? Iowa number "LVSFTBL."
...then goes on to display two photo's of the car. I can care less what LVSFTBL means, because the fact of the matter is, LVSFTBL is not the license plate #! In photograph two, we see "681 SXX" is actually the license plate #. So, photoshop & made up story? Real story & a white lie by the writer? If so... what else 'white lies' does he tell in his articles?Lmao.
Too high...:weed:

EDIT; Wouldn't the girl have seen this article & wondered the same thing?

(the number you see on the car in the picture were Lorimor's original plates, before her vanity tags arrived).

Lmao, I did pay attention, that was just added. Earlier when I posted the thread last night it wasn't even the first poster seen this. I added the same comment about the plate on the actual ARTICLE in the Yahoo Comments & suddenly, from thin air, another sentence was adjusted to the article about 45-min. later. I'm pretty sure the writer saw it considering it was at the top of the list with 6 thumbs up from others who noticed.

Pay attention to when this was posted next time! Lol. Good shit though...

You would think that one of the first 100 comments posted about the article would have mentioned something as blatant as that, but I think all of those people were capable of reading.
