Take a pic of the camera in the mirror and I'll tell ya if it's camera or you need some tips! Don't zoom in just get it close.

Np haven't tried LST, not familiar with it much, I've been topping these clones, will FIM the next two after they establish. Doin a lil bit of experimenting.

alright dv i tried to take pics..let me know what you think
what brand/model is it? And i'll look it up and see what i can come up for ya.

I scored a dehydrator from a bro of mine today that had one he'd modified for drying his shrooms. He said you can't heat the shrooms on dry either so the heating element was disconnected. I can't wait to load that fucker down and find out my dry wieght here in another month!

Appreciate that Zeke! I am all excited now, can't wait for spring, been out dolotmiting and tilling some spots I have in mind for a few ladies au natural outdoors.

Ok widow here we go,

Change the camera setting to the flower macro link here
No zoom needed this way. Under HID lighting the pic will strobe kinda.
You wanna snap the shot either on the down stroke of the pulse of the light or at the beginning of the upstroke of the pulse. Play with it using this setting without zooming in, just get closer to the plant. Also you can always sit it on the kitchen counter with regular lighting too. Turn off the flash if under HID as well.

Your camera is almost identical to mine but yours is a newer model. It's got the scroll wheel on top, mine doesn't. So I know it's more than capable to take good pics. ;) I leave auto focus on and everything else like exposure default as well. I've played with the diffrent lighting setting but have found just snapping away and picking thru later has been best. 20 mins a day playing with taking plant pics and you'll be taking as good if not better pics than me. I upload mine to P bucket and use the 17" monitor resize to post for the forums here.

The complete online manual to yours is here

I hope this helps ya, feel free to ask me for help.

thanks alot dv..ill be putting up the journal real soon now that i can get the picture thing settled..what do you think about usng coco coir??

I've personally never used it, so couldn't give you a opinion on it. In hydro i've done DWC with rubbermaid totes air stone bars and 4" net pots I liked it had really healthy plants. That was using Grodan Cubes and hydroton clay pebbles. Also done the drip system way back in college with grodan and pebbles, had better results than the DWC back then with that one. I'm looking into putting together a aeroponics setup for the tent eventually. I'm pretty sure i can knock off a EZ cloner that's my next grow related project. Alot of my frens in Cali doin hydro swore by the lucas formula. lemme know if you need photography software, i can point ya in the right direction for some great freebies.

Walmart Supply list for Widow,

Sterilite Tote (I'm partial to the Gloss Black ones out now) back to aquarium supplies, 2- 12" Air stone strips, dual outlet air pump, air hose tubing. That's it! Get some Netpots3.5-4" is plenty big. Some hydroton pebbles, grodan.
The biggest problem i had with my DWC was PH drift. I had to keep an eye on it often. I never had a TDS meter back then, I'm sure i could dial it in perfect now with mine. You can make one net pots and all for under $45 bucks for everything, same one sells on Yebay for 69-80 bucks

Cutting your holes in the lid i drew them out with a sharpie, drilled a hole in the center and used a knife to cut from the hole out to about 1/4 inch of the inside of the sharpie line in a sliced pie shape. then bend them under and trim off. This is alot easier than hacking away with scissors thru this thick ass plastic.

Im gonna give it a try..Im waiting till i get my cooltube and some veg lights so i can take some clones off of these female w.w. i got..

Thanks Widow,

Under $10 shipped on the big auction site. It's just the cheap 30x Chinese
handheld microscope. Was gonna get the USB microscope but was pleasantly
surprised with this one.

dvs, i was pruning my ladies that are in there 2nd week heading to the 3rd week of flowering and i figured ill take some for clones...was that a good idea???I figured why waste something that can amount to alot..so i just snipped only the 1/3 of the bottom part and only took 4 clones..I dipped them in rootech cloning gel then put them in rapid rooter plugs and in tray and dome. The lighting i have now are just 2 bulb t12 shoplight.I already orederd some t5s to add.My dome dont have holes in it should i put some??

Should be ok on the clones, just burp the dome with fresh air a few times a day and they'll be ok. Keep a mist on the dome though. Heat pad will help some i'm sure. I've had one juicy fruit and 2 super silver haze pop so far, i hope CS doesn't develop a bad germ rate. It ain't lookin too hot so far, got 3/7 left from the G13, 1/4JF popped, and 2/4 SSH, bout ready to pop 10 of my nirvana indoor mix early.
