I will not have these boards downgraded in this manner any longer. I refuse point blank to continue arguing with you morons.

I said the control causes mental illness... jesus, why do I bother?

You feel that you can come in and ruin a perfectly decent conversation with stupidity? Not only that, but (it seems to me) deliberately miss my point so that you can argue with me, and insult me?

You haven't got the brains.
skunk look in the mirrow your the one who hasn't got the brains ,plus your and ass any way

i think if your ill and like or need ganja to help you pass the day,, and vice versa, ill or not,i feel i need ganja to help me keep calm/sleep ect. we all use it for diif, reasons, but most of all to get stoned. once we get rid of the seedy side of cannabis. and start hearing about all the pro's, insted of all the bad things.
plus guys everyone should be able to have different view. at the end of the day. we all want the same goal. to be able to smoke and grow.

I couldn't agree with you more crazy. I think all of us here at this site are here for the same reasons. We want to grow and smoke our own weed. It helps us through our day and is not hurting anyone therefore we should have the right.

I personally think people with mm cards should have top priority not because they are better than anyone else but because they need it and thats not something we can make judgement calls on. At least, I'm sure not going to.:-|

If you went into a hospital emergency room with a broken finger you wouldn't expect to get in front line before the guy dying from the heart attack. At least, I would hope you wouldn't. I, personally, think it just comes down to respect and consideration.

Yes we could look down the road and make all kinds of innuendos but in the end, we do all have the same goal.
If the medical establishment and the gov't are becoming more lienient with marijuana laws, however way they do it, why not accept it?

I do not know of anyone who if offered the opportunity to obtain an mm card to pocess and grow, would pass it up.

This is what I'm talking about. People that are sick can't just tell their doctor they need mm. You will need to have tests etc, to see if you're lying...This is them having the power. Even if they legalise for people that need mm, there would still be a process to obtaining the license, and doubtless some people would get left behind. We want it flat out legal, and the only way we're ever going to get it is if we make a stand. Take away their option. We do have the numbers.

must admit, people are blagging the docs, to get m.m cards, ive got something wrong with me, not that bad, but if i could blag an m.m card i would. but only so i cud grow legal. everyman/women for themselves. its got to be better, more people having m.m cards whether they need them or not. because at the moment its the safest way to grow, and if more peoplehave them, we'll be a bigger force against the powers that be, wont we. all i can say is i wish i had one, wish i cud blag the doc for a m.m. but cannot. so ill have to grow illegal, and if get caught, i get caught.

are you saying skunk, the gov. want to know who's growing, like trying to obtain a gun lic. there way or the highway, plus what would happen if you had a crim. record, would you be able to get a m.m card. just incase you grew for profit.

I agree with everything you are saying here but weed just isn't going to be legalized like that. There is no way. And although I totally understand your point of view, the way that you have worded your debate has only insulted those who may or may be trying to obtain an mm card. We don't need to shame these people. We don't know what their condition is nor is it any of our business.

Its basic human nature to feel threatened by those in power. Whether we consciously realize it or not, when threatened even in the slightest, we go into 'fight or flight' response.
Most people will choose flight because most people don't like conflict. Thats just human nature. The minority, people like you and probably me(and of course many others) would fight BUT just because we are set up that way we can't expect others to ignore their instinct to avoid and flee.

Most people like to go with the flow and not cause waves. If the majority of people are keeping quiet and accepting the laws as is then there will be no change BUT this obviously is not the case because the laws are changing. Medical marijuana is a huge benefit for those who have the opportunity to obtain a card so why would we want to single them out and shame them for having one.

Skunk seriously now. I have no doubt in my mind that if you could have the same opportunity to get an mm card, you would get one. Or would you say, "No thanks because I don't want to feel like I am superior to others and besides I don't know where this is headed therefore I'm out.":neutral::roll:

I thought this way for quite some time but then looked into it here in Canada. We have the laws to obtain and grow if you have an mm card BUT they do not have ANY government authorized personal to conduct ANY grow inspections.
None. Zero.
I don't know what is going to happen in the future, all I know is what is happening NOW and think NOW is the best time to get in if you can get an mm card.
I try and just live in the present moment.:blsmoke:

See boston.
Now the more states that get these, the more pressure it will put on other states to do the same. The more countries that get it the more pressure there is for other countriies to follow suite.
i wish you could get them in boston

This has nothing to do with mm users, nor do I care what their conditions are. This has to do with cannabis smokers. Period.

If I were growing in my own garden, then i wouldn't be bothered about everybody else making a stand... as I will already be growing it in my garden. What would I be proving by continuing to grow it in my garden? I will already be joining in.

I haven't offended mm users at all, they have offended themselves by misinterpreting the point. In reality, this has nothing to do with them, at least not the ones that already have a license. All i'm suggesting is that we all make a stand and grow.

This isn't just about cannabis. This is about the opression that is our society today. In the 70's the people wouldn't have stood for half the shit that happens now. Society gets weaker by the day. there is a much bigger picture.

I have offended no one, except those that want to be offended by the deliberate misinterpretation of my words.

Yes I'm with you on that one. I'm gonna smoke whether I have one or not also. But if I have the opportunity to obtain one, i'm not gonna say no either. Would you?:dunce:

Misrepresented? WTF medical marijuana is the title of the thread.

I am certainly not trying to get into an arguement with you skunk, we've both been there done that, but in just the title alone you have pulled the mm card users into a debate.

I don't get how you don't see that.:-|

Skunk I totally do understand what you are getting at. We have talked this out for a while now so I get your perspective and please correct me if I'm wrong.

Here is my take on what you mean:

Why is it that the government has made a stand regarding marijuana but its' only for those who have a medical marijuanan card? WTF?

But you didn't post this thread like that.

I also agree that it would be great if weed were legal for everyone but it just isn't going to happen that way.
I don't know about the rest of the world because I live in Canada but I do know that even with the medical marijuana laws in place there is not enough manpower to do grow checks. Can you imagine if all of a sudden they legalized it? I would be thrilled and would be happy for all my fellow canadians but it could be a scary thought too. If they don't have the manpower now, can you imagine the increase in grow ops? This could be a HUGE problem.:?

This is why I said that this subject isn't as black and white as you have made it out to be.

Yes, it is... and? WTF Medical Marijuana? What is it? It is only a half truth... this world will never change because people like yourself are ignorant to what is really going on. as can be viewed by my, by now, almost certain misinterpretation of my posts. You do not see clearly enough what I'm talking about. Now I have had enough of explaining myself to you.
BR> I can only repeat myself so much. You want to take offence, that's up to you... I no longer give a fuck.

if only they were an answer, that made everyone happy. over here in england, cannabis has been down graded, and if the cops, pull you and you have only, personel, then they dont charge, just take it from you, but if you get caught growing, its like anywere else, depending how much, persomel of not. but even they have relaxed the laws we cannot obtain. m.m cards weather your ill or not.
plus how can it become like amsterdam. coffee shops ect. the gov. have stopped us, smoking in public places. eg, pubs, clubs, rest.workplaces, everywere. so is like there putting obsticals in our way before we start. making out smoking ect. is getting worse for us. there even trying to stop our rite, to smoke/choose, whats next. alcohol, fatty food?. the list goes on.
