wtf man still 90 degrees in here help+rep

150w hps mini from htg,3 exhaust 1 intake.1 big fan blowing on the light.1 exhaust fan from htg that is made to cool the light.with and without that exhaust for the light its still 90+ degrees. i only have $40 to spend plz help me cool this cab.

First of all, the light is way too close to those seedlings. Secondly, do you have a piece of tempered glass on the bottom of the reflector? Is there an intake on that reflector or just exhaust? If so, where is the air coming from that is going through the reflector? If all you are doing is recirculating air through the reflector that is already 90f+ it is not going to cool much. More info please.

raise the light a bit looks like you may be a little close my 150 hps is about 10 to 12 inches away and my temps stay between 74 to 79

Also, where is your thermometer? It looks like it's all the way at the top. Move it down closer to the plants and get a reading down there. Definately get some tempered glass when you can and I guess my other question would be what is the ambient temperature of the air in the room where you have your cabinet?

thx for the reply but you may have not read my 1st post at the top or looked at the pics.plants are 3'' away from the glass shield and about 5'' from the actual bulb.thats an exhaust on top of the light.those pc fans at the top(3) are also exhaust.down bottom i have 2 intake fans.plus that big fan that i have blowing hot air up towards the exhaust.

my light has a glass shield and my thermometer is rite next to my plants on the same level.ima move the light up now

I had some problems getting my light cooled too. I had too mush air moving around the cabinet.

Heres what I did.
I unplugged all my fans except the exhaust from the light. Make sure that you have as few bends as possible in the ducting, also make sure its as short as it can be. I repositioned my fan to the end of the exhaust so it pulls the air out from the light. Besides the llight exhaust fan I use a passive intake (a hole) and have 1 fan that exhausts the cabinet. It worked like a charm, my temps dropped instantly.
If there is a ton of air movement in the cabinet your exhaust fan is fighting against it. Give it a shot, it worked for me.

Dude looks like the big fan might be blowing air across the lighting and all around the world. You've got to carefully direct your new air across the plants and the old air away from the plants while never letting the new and old air mix. Raise the lighting a little and turn off that big ass fan. Keep your thermometer down by the pots so you know the root temps.

Ask yourself where is all the new fresh CO2 going to come from? Keep in mind that CO2 for plants is like oxygen for humans. How much do you value your oxygen?
