WTF IT Smells like GRASS

Ok my friend is in it's 3rd day of letting it hang dry and it smells like grass. What's the problem? IS the harvest garbage now?
 
my first couple grows I got worried when drying that it was losing the good smell it had while growing. after being patient and waiting 1-2 weeks for it to dry (checking the humudity and whatnot to determine time) i found that if you stop it early it's filled with doom and will never regain the smell/taste but if u be patient and wait, it'll be everything you thought it would be while it was still growing.
 
If you don't research and improperly cure, your buds will forever be hay smelling and airy.. Do some research, you don't want to ruin your final product because you didn't read a few pages on curing...

So What's the best of curing, once its being hanging for dry?? Wait till the branches snap to but in jar, than open the jar twice a day for an hour or so. Something around these lines?
 
Could be a ruderalis strain, basically just ditch weed. I think curing would probably make the grass/hay smell stronger if this is the case haha. Do you know its genetic backround? Did it have a different smell during flower? Usually after curing I find they take on the smell they had during flower.

me too!! I called the dude lazy and told him to READ!! both truthful! I'm a to the point type of person (not your avg pot head) and i prefaced it with "not to be rude" and some J/A said since I said that, that I was being rude.. I'm sure someone told him that and he just couldn't wait to ever use it. I was simply stating the truth and trying to tell him that he is FUQN LAZY!! and needs to read, it was his 2nd post, he had done zero research, i felt warranted.
 
I just stopped answering stupid questions for which the answer can be found in the grow faqs. When I first signed up I posted like crazy, because the grow faqs were down that week. After they put them back up I was in heaven. As far as the search function goes, I can never get anything Im looking for with the search function. The results are too broad and too many. Half of what you type it wont even search for. I do know how to correctly use the search too, it just dont work out for me.
