wtf is up with this site.

Been here a year or more now and lately a banner has been popping up and the motherfucker is advertising something in the city i live in.

Basicly it says my city name and some other shit its trying to promote.

Im nervous now. Anyone else see this on their end?

...they are tracking you by your IP location.
...do you know how to use a proxy server? ...it'll change your location on that ad if that's all you want, but they can still locate your real ip address if they want to put the techs to work.

dude, your IP has all your info attached to it . . . . it is accessible by advertising programs and is gleamed by many sites as you move through the net and will tailer your ads to what you do


if someone has your IP they can find you, and its not hard to get

might as well accept it,if you use the internet you are possibly accessible by many individuals if they choose to access you

good proxy is never a bad idea
