WTF is this plant doing?!

Figured I would post here rather than plant problems because the problem is with a CFL grow. Mod(s) if im in the wrong spot please move :bigjoint:

Buddy of mine has a plant doing something I've never seen before and was hoping one of you could shed some light on it. Oh and its feminized BB cheese, in case anyone was wondering.

how often are you watering ? reason i ask is that soil looks dry as the desert .
once soil drys this dry it gets hard and its very hard to get it to retain water. it usually just runs thru the pot without absorbing.
that or its too hot and its evaporating too quikly

Alright having him soak the soil now. Had been watering every other to every 3rd day. We will see if this helps!

that seems about right for the watering evryother / every 3rd day
but what you want to watch for is add the wtart slowly and if it just runs thru and doesnt add any weight to the pot the soil had dried too much at one point an di would suggest transplanting into better soil ... simply flooding it wont help if thats not the issue.
get a thermometer with a high low memory on it and make sure your temps arent getting over 85 at the worst.
while plants can grow at 90 or 100 they get extremely stunted and use up far too much water and cant use nutrients properly.
my personal goal for temp is 77 - 78 . while i dont lways maintain that i try like hell to
