WTF is causing this???

got a real stumper here. no one at the grow shop or anywhere else has been able to tell me what this might be ( mind you i live in norcal, so they have some experience ). the problem has started at various stages, sometimes at the end of cloning cycle, sometimes during or at end of veg cycle, sometimes not until flower. it has happened to the mothers too. i'm including pics. the basic background is this:
soil
strain=The Purps
botanicare nutrients
temp in veg 75-85; humididty can bounce between 40-90; running t5
temp in flower 65-75; humidity 50-65; running 1000W
air flow is good
ph is checked at every feeding 6.1-6.5. runoff has been checked and is consistent. have tried flushing but with little improvement

the leaves start off sort of barely folding in at the edges, then they become an unhealthy pale color almost yellow/gray. usually it stops/recovers about half way down the canopy and generally once in flower it doesn't continue to wrinkle or turn leathery but the affected leaves then turn into claws. yield is definitely affected i feel. also, strangely it doesn't always hit every plant in the crop, though usually a majority. also oddly, it has never crossed into other strains though just today i noticed a Grape Ape mother starting to show the first signs.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! starting to feel a little crazy. happy to provide more info or photos! thanks!!

id say thats not watering related. them plants are in flowering. with a fully developed root zone. now if it was just showing in early stages then maybee. also that does not look like moisture related strees either. im not sure at the min op have many maybee. could you post i full pic of the entire plant please. im just going to do some note checking and ask some one esle to cast there eye more exp over this. 5 mins

Just to second that^^^I'm sure i read a thread quite recently about a virus that was hitting Californian growrooms.

Look it up...what with all the clones likely to being swapped stuff like this might start to show up more often in future.

After this grow . I'd clean everything with bleach water(I do anyway). Disinfect every tool, tray, etc. Get new nutes too if they may have the virus. IF thats what it is. Even the harvested nugs could carry it.

doesn't look like mosaic virus to me. I've found that when a leaf's edge turns up or down it is trying to conserve moisture and or the lighting is too intense. How close are the lights (what kind) to your plants...how often do you water? did this happen ...before or after veg/flower?

Did you even read their initial post?

i can get a photo soon for you. also note that the plant usually shows this form of distress beginning at the top and will progress down. which would lead me to think heat/light issue but we keep the t5 a completely reasonable distance away (minimum a foot) and the 1000w are about 4 feet away and there are no other traditional signs of leaf burn.

That looks exactly like moisture stress, the leaves were trying to conserve/keep mositure (by cupping), it could be because of heat and/or dry conditions (+ powerful fan? :)

It only takes a few hours of dry and/or warm environment, and the leaves will stay that way even after problem corrected (at least mine did).
I guess the 1000W generated dry radiant heat at some point in time.
