WTF did I do wrong?!!!

These are the first issues I've had with my girl and she's about 42 days from seed.

As you can see, there are spots showing up on some of the fan leaves. Some of the internal leaves are turning a lime green color. The lower leaves are turning yellowish/brown. I've read that the yellowing is "normal" but I'm not sure if it is in the veg stage.

My temps are consistently between 72-77 degrees, humidity between 48-60%, I pH my distilled water 6.4-6.8 with 1 tsp of cal-mag each time. I'm using FF Big Bloom & Grow Big at 1/3 and 1/4 strength accordingly. I'm a little bummed as I was hoping to get through my first grow unscathed; considering the amount of time I prepared for it; but reading and actually GROWING are 2 different things lol. Any assistance can help.

Nitrogen deficiency? I water with nutes every other watering, which correlates to once a week. Should I increase the dosage of Grow Big from .5 tsp to more?

Shit, id flip em anyway.
Id start to worry when it makes its way around the whole plant. Its normal, Just pluck the leaves that look like that off

But i think its either a nitrogen or potassium problem.. if it do make its way up to new growth. Other than that i think youll be alright, my man

Good healthy lookin plant though

For what it's worth, most of the affected fan leaves are some of the oldest ones. I'm puzzled lol. Overall; she looks gorgeous just not sure if it's something I should worry about. Any other opinions?

WAY too much Cal Mag, your killing them.
Never add Cal Mag until after 4-5 weeks in soil (I wouldn't do it), when there MIGHT be an deficiency.
The reason I use it would be in hydro, but I use B52 or a kelp based product in water to provide essential minerals.
In soils, don't waste your money.
Stop using the Cal Mag, and bring you water to 6.0 at this time, and I would flush just to do all you can do.
I'll bet your PH is insane right now, do a test on your runoff, and maybe use some hydrated lime to adjust.
Good luck, but you'll probably make it, but definitely no more Cal Mag, as it is toxic in large amounts.

Thanks for the info but allow me to play devil's advocate as I want to learn the why and not just the what...I was by my local hydro shop that when using distilled water, I should add cal-mag to each watering as there aren't any minerals or whatever in the water. Not saying what you're saying is wrong, but do you have any logic on why he would suggest that? Thanks again for your ensight.

Will I halt or stunt any growth by removing ALL the leaves that are affected? From my understanding, the fan leaves act as solar panels. If I don't remove, is this something that would spread?

They do act as such, but you want your plant to focus on new growth of "solar panels" other than try to fix the ones that are hurt, so by removing them your plant will have nothing to fix. Defoiling is a tricky subject but in my opinion and experience, it does help. But olny if you have a select few of them.
But i believe that leaving those leaves are stunting the growth more that plucking them off, because the plant is focusing on trying to heal them other than focusing more on growing.

But Youll be okay if you leave them aswell, my man
Hope i answered your questions clear enough, im high as shit trying to type all this out haha

This could be accomplished in very small doses but depending on the strength you used that could easily be way too much. Just ease off it for a bit.

i agree that plucking those leaves wont hurt anything and might improve air circulation a bit but they dont seem so bad to me that they should be removed. if i understand correctly and this is a nutrient toxicity issue then the plant is unloading the nutrients in those leaves before allowing them to die to resolve its issue. removing them may cause the problem to progress upward

Removing the hurt foliage, will cause the plant to fight back harder because you are getting rid of the bump in the road, having all healthy leaves will give it a boost in fighting back by producing more fan leaves to replace the ones that were plucked, other than it try to focus on healing a few hurt fan leaves.
Plucking fan leaves off is not the cause of toxicitys spreading
Overthinking it is
As long as you dont feed it any more or any less than you have been youll be just fine. Until you notice it spreading, thats when you find out whats wrong and start adjusting.
Now, im not saying that leaving them on will hurt it so dont take this offensively, my man. Just having a grown and knowledgeable disagreement

Check your ppms on your water after you add your cal/mag, should be in the 150-200 range. Adjust it up or dilute as needed to be in that range and you should do it every watering. Looks like a mag shortage to me but trust the numbers. Not a big deal.

Judging from the responses, I don't believe this to be a major issue but something to continue monitoring...or that could be this Skywalker OG telling me everything is going to be ok lol. I've read Northern Lights is a tough son of bitch so I'll definitely find out. I decided to pluck the lowest fan leaves, invest in a TDS meter and scale back on the cal-mag. I'll update as needed. Thanks again for the help fellas!

What "soil" are they in and why the 1/4 strength nutes for so long.??? Those leaves look like they were deficient on N for a minute but didnt come back entirely. Your new growth looks good from what I saw. New growth is going to tell you what your doing wrong now, old growth tells you what you did wrong before.

Actually, old growth speaks to mobile nutrient issues and new growth speaks to immobile nutrient issues.
