WTF, Buds growing on fan leaves, lol.

So I haven't seen this before. It's a clone only Green Crack that I've harvested 4 times so far. This is round 5 and I just noticed a bud growing out of a fan leaf stem. It's never done this before, and it's only on one leaf. I'm not complaining if extra buds want to grow on fan leaves, but I thought it was kinda crazy, lol.

It's funny because it's the first time I've ever seen this on any plant, and I've been growing this Green Crack strain for a year and a half. @Renfro needs to get a clone of this girl. He can probably make a new version that produces buds out of all the fan leaves, instead of just one, lol.

At first I thought it was something that fell on the leaf, so I tried to wipe it off. It actually was a little bigger before I did that. But, I'm gonna try to see how big I can get my leaf bud, lol.

And next time someone asks if it's ok to smoke the leaves, I can say hell ya, and post a pic of the fan with a nug on it, lol.

Also, in case anyone is curious, this is day 20 since flip.

Mutes happen ... had a variegated plant with stripy leaf and once a dark devil that literally weeped drops of resin. You can get poly plants , irregular growth ( had one throw branching on one side , nubs on the other ) ... i just grew out anyways.

take good pics of your grows for posterity and sharing. I always take pics of things to remember about grows ... bud shots , nugs , males , duckfoot leaf , big ass fans , whatever.

i never had that on a grow ... scratch one off bucket list.

Had a lemon og kush strain pop these out on a whole bunch of leaves. Funny thing is that I was told that the strain had been around for 11 years being passed around between growers via clone

This is the original clone only Green Crack from like 1990 passed on since. The first 4 rounds of mine didn't get it, so I'm guessing I may have stressed her out more this time. I don't know, but it's kinda cool still.

It's just a mutation from from broken recessive gene. I've had extra leaf blades growing in the same location. The leaf stem will never support a bud's weight. Never saw a negative effect on the plant.

The other thing that I noticed on the lemon og kush was the fan leaves had a lot of crystals on them. Like normally fan leaves don’t get any crystals
