ya opium isn't really around anymore because it's so much more valuable when refined into heroin.

but to get opium you just need to grow the right poppy, slash into the buds before they flower, and collect the juice on the leaf of your choice (*cough*cannabis*cough*) and since virtually no one knows what opium poppies look like (unlike the cannabis plant) it's fairly safe to grow for personal use. The trick is obtaining the poppies in the first place.

Those poppies are hella illegal in the united states so unless you live in some other country it's too hard to find the seeds They are beautiful flowers tho.

ya, poppies are so easy to grow though. I have perpetual california poppies in my yard. one year I planted em and they've seeded and sprouted every year since then. all I need is one or 2 plants and I'll be set...
