While I have every confidence that Obama will seek another term, even mentioning that he would consider legalization would be political suicide. In this forum, the idea is likely to be wildly popular but it is ludicrous to think that we are anything other than the minority in the voting population. With time, the older, anti-cannabis legislators will die off or become impotent in their collective influence over the USA's attitude regarding consumption of cannabis. Unfortunately those days are still a long way off.

it ALL depends on how the economy does this year. And for the people saying that he hasnt done anything yet. How the hell is he supposed to flip a declining country into a prosperous one in a matter of 2 years. ppl expected too much, we really wont know how is presidency plays out until he is out of office....

But like 60% of Americans admit to smoking marijuana casually. :( That's the people that ADMIT to smoking it. More people smoke than admit I'm sure you know.

im going to have to agree with carl. Its coming no doubt but not anytime soon. Once the greedy politicians figure out how to make mj their cash cow then will we see weed glorified for all its might. And ya know what its some bullshit man. :peace: 1BMM
