Would you start from seed or clone?

I'm planning my grow op. I have worked out most of the details. I'm trying to decide if I should order some awesome seeds, deal with males, clone off the best female(s), or should I grow straight from clones.

I am a medical mj patient with permission to grow. I'm planning on growing excess medication because the dispensaries said they would buy it off me. I want to grow an easy to grow variety (because I'm a noob), but also one that is in high demand by the medical marijuana community and easily goes for $50 an 1/8th oz.

To maximize return on investment--would you start your crop from the seed of a good strain, or the clones from a good selection of strains?

What about pre-feminized seeds? Best of both worlds I think. Then choose your strongest plant and make that a mother plant to further harvest clones from

clones will get you there faster and seed strains I trust more to be true to strain.

Exactly what I did although I don't keep a mother. I just take the best clone I have when I need it

Are you saying there's a plant strain that give you 1lb per plant yield?!?!

I may start another thread, but can you list 5 high demand weed strains...like what would you pay good money to smoke? I'm a light weight smoker, so I'm smoking northern lights--only $20 an 1/8th which is really nice. I don't know much about mind blowing shit. I hear purple and OG strains are in demand...what do you think?

I heard that clone queen thing is a scam dude. I called them and they were trying to sell me illegal ammount of plants as the minimum because I was like 2 miles out of their delivery range(legal limit is 6mature and 12 immature).

Also had someone who was added on their facebook/weedfinder friends list tell me it was some dude buying cuttings from growers in bulk from people with spider mites and the warranty doesn't cover spider mites(30day for clones to root or w/e). Plus they said their only selling 3$ clones(of their pick) every other friday and the prices are 30$ a pop for top shelf, with 25$ at mid shelf. Spider mites is my only problem when it comes to clones, I mean sure different strains aren't going to root the same but, if you get 12 different strains rooting shouldn't be a problem. Especially with a 30day warranty, also their real location isn't rancho or upland where it says they're located. Its just someone answering his cellphone claiming to be an established location. Even if he has his caregivers liscense Im still not calling him back, tried selling me more then 12clones at 30 a pop. Diddn't even have the quarter that I asked him about, I doubt he has any smokable herb either.

Go from seed it is way better. Clones are just easy because they are already grown but truely seeds grow faster, you don't need to buy a whole pack either if u don't have the money i just started a fem that I got off The Attitude. All you need is some rockwool and cloning gel and ur good to go my seed was less than $10 and I got a pineapple express free
