I would suggest the following:

1) Buy dehumidifier - self explanatory I got 2 one is running 24-7 in my basement
2) If you been foliar feeding or spraying, stop now no foliar feed ever, especially not during budding
3) Add an extra fan or two for more fresh airI could use an extra portable fan in that room
4) It might be tempting to have a massive cola to show off but if you got potential bud rot problem, cut that bitch down I wasnt necessarily trying to get big colas, I now know to top my plants

Other than that, you got yourself a waiting game - hopefully no funky monkey spores contaminated the other plant. Good luck and don't take a loss of a plant or two so personally.
I agree I hope the monkey spores didnt contaminates other plants, I have a few Agent Orange almost ready including one with 2 colas that will make a beer bottle look small.

I will let the buds (pics 4-14, the bottom part of the plant) dry very well to the point that they are ridiculously dry and smoke one and see what it tastes like... Good news is I got 2 more God's Lemon Skunk that will be ready within 2-3 weeks.

I wish I knew what bud rot smells like though, the buds are putrid !!

the description:

All the lemony goodness of Jordan's stinky, cirtusy Lemon Skunk meets the dank Purple Skunk that is God bud, in this wickedly smelly cross.

Don't order this strain if you are concerned about smell! This will repel skunks from your home or yard in fear. Dank to the core. Very green frosty buds.

I dont smell the lemon, all I can smell is putridness !! when I cracked the bud open, it does smell kind of good.

I had that happen on one of my colas last grow. Pissed me off to no end. The whole top was ruined but the rest of the plant was ok. Nothing top notch, but smokable.

Good airflow will prevent this. I agree. I have so much heat that I have to run 400cfm in, and a 400cfm exhaust to keep the temps down buuuuuuut it also keeps my RH @ 25-30%.

good air exchanges are a must :)
