Get one from Amazon or buy the one from HTG maybe $10-25 more but you are paying for quality and customer service.

If something is wrong with your tent HTG WILL take it back, and even better Amazon WILL take it back, pay for hte shipping back, and sometimes just SOMETIMES they let you KEEP the product AND send you a refund or replacement. I now have 3 400W MH/HPS Combo packs I bought 2 one was broken on delivery they said keep it and sent me another. Then I noticed it wasn't working because of my own fault (Power couldnt handle 2 400ws in same outlet so it never turned on since it had smart control (If it sense too much power it wont power up) so I ended up keeping it anyway and Im set with 6 lights 3 mh 3 hps 3 hanger ropes 3 aircooled tubes 3 ballest 3 400w fixture and 3 thermos

I bought a cheap 4x4 from ebay.
If you're not reefing on it and you treat it good it works just fine.

Make sure the tent your looking at has the holes just where you want them to be. A cheaper tent can work just fine. SOmetimes the material is a little lighter and the zippers not quite as sturdy as some. HTG sells a better made tent for instance, but they can be had a little cheaper than their prices. I have one better made one and one cheaper one and they both do the job.

  • Sturdy Rounded Corner Plastic Connectors

Fuck no...
What happens is some types of plastic gets brittle/yellow over time and given the top corners are stress/weight bearing points; well the possibility of a light or fan coming down on your crop is increased.... I got 2ea Adviti (or whatever) from Amazon; the 4x4 has those plastic corners, whereas the 3x3 has metal ones...could be a new improvement; I dunno...eitherway the price for ea was under $100

If you have a tent with plastic corners you should reinforce them right now with duct tape or something. I narrowly missed disaster, tape that was holding up my thermometer sensor stopped the light from dropping on my plants after a plastic joint broke. I inspected the rest and they were all ready to break. I bought this tent:

$120 shipped, it works fine and has metal connectors

Gorilla tents are adjustable and look pretty good:

I have a no name china 10x5 tent with steel poles, and it held 2 xxxl hoods and ballasts, a inline fan and filter, 2 oscillating fans and a dehumidifier lol( I like all the floor space I can get) and when my upstairs flooded i came downstairs to about 30 gallons of water on top of my tent. So water is what 8lbs to a gallon so that would be like 240lbs in just water. It sunk my lights down about a foot or so from the weight above but i was really lucky it didnt collapse on me with all that weight I was on week 7 of flower. Sorry about getting off topic but yes i like mine except for the cheap zippers that they come with.

You can always modify it and make a frame out of wood. That way you don't have to worry about the tent collapsing on your 3 month old plants.

Bought a 4x8x7 for 200 .. Has steel support and Non-toxic mylar inside, canvas outer shell. Works great.
I have a 6in fan, 2-600's and a light rail hanging. No problem, did have to black tape on or two small places in stitching for small pin hole light leaks.
Other than that no pro lem. Got anothrr on the way.

I bought a 4.5x4.5 tent off CL for 30$. It didn't come with a frame so I just built out of wood took me like 10 mins. It works like a champ!

I have 3 but 2 are knockoffs one growden tent and one apollo. Both the apollo 4x4 and the growden 3x3 have been used for more then a year with not a problem in sight. The growden was built slightly better IMO but the apollo is built very sturdy and pretty damn light tight for i think 119bucks for a 4x4 w/shipping. and the groden was about the same price.

I have a cheap 2x3 forget the brand but was like 60bucks off amazon or ebay and it is fine except some idiot designed the ventilation on it so the ducting is backwards and needs a little extra flex to vent out

I have 2 secret jardin dr120's and LOVE them!! I use them for my veg and my clone rooms. I also have a no name 5x10x6.5 tent that is utterly useless pretty much. this tent has more light leaks and issues. every zipper is a major light leak. I put duct tape over all the pin holes, but ran out of tape. I now have this tent FULLY walled off with 6ml contractors black plastic. hopefully NO more light leaks and no more hermie issues.

I just bought a Gorilla Grow 4x8x7 and I'm very happy with the quality.

The material is more like canvas, and I can hang from the frame and I'm more than 200lbs.

I got it for very cheap (near 60% of the website price) from a south east Michigan source.

PM for details if you want
