Would two 450w cree 3590s over two 4x4s even work?

This is for my vegging setup, but I was wondering if 6x3590s run at 75 watts for a total of 450watts work over two 4x4 trays? Thats 3 lights over each 4x4... I don't need the clones to get very tall, under 20 inches normally. Would this work with a light mover? I run SOG. I can add more lights, but was hoping to get away with this, I'm doubting it will work now that I actually see it... Any advice?

I think in this case I would forego wattage for coverage. The 4 cob 200 watt kit is the same money.. It will give you better coverage and I believe more par watts because it is more efficient. I'm still learning so talk with Timber Dan.. I would think with a light mover you could pull it off.

fug... i already ordered two 225 kits. i was gonna do 2 3x3 tables but i feel like 4x4s make more sense... id really rather not use a light mover just for the fact it can stop working at any time and id have the light closer.

I run one 3590 at 700ma to cover two square feet for light vegging 15w/SF Clones go there before final veg to 18" under 50w / SF. I think it would work fine and you could get a second set of drivers to do your heavy vegging after you get the clones on their feet. Peace

for short veg you dont need much. im covering a 2x5 area with (6) 5000K 15W A19 bulbs which arent nearly as efficient as cobs. thats like 9W/SF of inefficient light in my case, you'd ahve like twice as much light. 225W over a 4x4 is 14W/SF at higher efficiency which should be fine

i run sog so i dont really need the plants too big, but i do want them to veg fairly quickly. does anyone have a suggestion on a configuration for the 3 lights over a 4x4...? thanks for the help. im still trying to learn the fastest i can in regards to LEDs

wow, 15W A19...those gotta get pretty hot. I had done the HF power strip with the 9W A19's with the diffuser removed and it got a little warm when I used all 10 or 12 outlets. Perfect for a smaller veg area so I can only imagine how well 15W would do.
