Would this Work?

Im not having any troubles with heat, but have in the past, and was wondering how effective it would be to have a mini fridge in a grow room, with a small fan pulling air out of it to cool the room. seems like it would be cheaper than ac? anybody think this would work

i see a few ppl using a frig, it should work

It would be far cheaper to run an ac due to the fact that the small motor in the fridge will burn out rather quickly

I don't see why not, as long as you're care full not to aim the cold air directly at the plants.
I can see the power bill going up though.

A dorm fridge or mini fridge will not really work, they aren't meant to cool a room. They trickle cold air and have a very small cooling element, even compared to a window ac.

Even if you have a good fan moving the air, the fridge just won't kick out enough cool air for you to make a diff, and like the other guy said, you'll burn out your motor very quickly, they weren't designed to run full blast like that, then how will you keep your beer cold?
