Would this work without any exhaust?

Hey iv just moved into a new house and have got a closet that i think i might be able to start my first grow in. What i am thinking of trying is putting two 50cm clones in there with cfl lighting. I am on a very small budget and want to flower them straight away. The main problem is i dont have any way to ventilate, though ive read just opening the closet door once a day is enough to ventilate the plants? Is this true, i am not in a very hot climate so heat inside the box shouldn't be a problem. The second question i have is how many cfl's should i use and am i right that since im flowering straight away i need to use 2700k rating?? Thanks

Scrap up about 25-30 bucks and make a carbon scrubber filter! It shouldn't be a big deal if you make at least one! And yes you need to use 2700K CFL as big as you can get!

With CFL's an open door is all you will need. I'v done 5 grows using mostly CFL's in a 4'x3' space. I've recently expanded. Are you doing hydro or soil? Yes 2700k or warm white are the CFL's you need for flower. How many you need is debateable but take a look at this ling and let me now what you think.

Sweet as thanks for the info, im just using soil as that is what the clones are coming in already and just to keep it as simple as i can as this is my first grow.

I do hydro (Bubblehead style) but CFL is CFL. I keep my 4x7 closet door cracked a bit and use an ocellating fan low to pump in fresh air and a fan up high pointed out the door to exhaust any heat. If you can't crack it maybe you can install a vent in the door down low.
