Would this work with a 400CFM fan?

Flower room is 72"x72"x81"
600w HPS Cooltube.

I want it to act as my scrubber and exhaust.

Filter>>Cooltube/light>>Exhaust fan.

That should work right? I was going to put the filter on the opposite side of the room of my air intake. The exhaust/inline fan will blow out of the room.

For air intake I have a vent from from the main furnace/ac. Its not separate from the thermostat in the living room unfortunately.

Looking on Ebay for a good and quiet inline fan I can use for the setup I typed above. It needs to plug into a regular 110v socket. Some advice would rock.

Setup sounds fine. I'd run a separate system for lights and main exhaust, but many people run it that way. I think there is more control in separate systems.

400 CFM is fine for that sized room. I use a 550/470 and on 470 its more than enough for an 8'x10'x7'. I can feel lots of air pulling in through my intake. As far as brands i've heard good things about the soler & palau td-silent line. I got their regular TD line the 200 model and it's sorta loud. Quieter than my crap 25 dollar 240 CFM fan. I hear their TD-150 is quiet. Didn't know they had a silent line until recently.

I am interested, but they are very vague about what the noise level is. "Up to 12 DB less" is not an answer. They are purposely wording around what the DB level is. Next to the noise levels they have an asterisk, I am trying to see what that asterisk entails.

You can buy 6" blower/scrubbers with 52 DB on ebay for $160 US. I am trying to figure out how loud that would be, and I am looking for lower DB models as well.

50db seems to be the average for other fans. I may just have to settle with that.

that TB-150 is a good price, but I can not find the DB level anywhere.
