would this hash making method work ?

i was wondering about making hash and was thinking of something to extract the crystals from the water like bubble bags but i have no money to spend on them so i was thinking can i use a pair of womens tights to filter the water through and catch the trichomes becasue there made of really little mesh just like bubble bags lol just a really cheap idea i had lol so if you have any input on this let me know sweeeeet

I do blender hash
Filter through a cheese cloth into a jar let it settel use a turkey baster and remove the water from the top all the way to within a inch of the setteled trichomes
fill with fresh water put in fridge for 1 hr and repete until the water is clean then pour through a paper coffe filter press water out form and let dry

Just research "gumby hash" - you don't filter the trichomes out, you just let them settle at the bottom of the water then remove the water.

works well freezing water ice two buckets two pairs stockings beeter coffee filters!!

i use iso get a glass jar some bud or trim breat it up bbut not super fine dont grind it put the bud in jar and put 91% ISO alchahol fill about 1/3 and put lid on and shake for like 1 min then strain throught a silk screen you can get at a hobby store like 20 bux then strain it into a pyrex dish you can to 2 runs i always do them seprate take dish put it on a heating pad for faster or hrat lamp it will evap then u scrape it and mold it very poten make sure all the alchahol is gone when you scrape i usally let mine sit overnight then after u scrape let the ball of hash itself dry for a day or 3 u prefrence

Yeah I was gonna say doing isohash (aka qwiso or quick-wash iso) is the easiest way to throw a batch of hash. There are a ton of vids on Youtube showing this method. I personally would only use a fine metal screen strainer to strain it through. (You can get them at Wal-mart in the kitchen section for like $1-3.) Iso can eat through stuff like plastic screens and other non-metal screen. Silk may be immune to it though for all I know. ::shrug:: You can also speed up the iso by blow drying it. =)

-I'd maybe hold off on blender hash as I've heard a lot of mixed results on that method and one lady on here was downright pissed she wasted some good trim trying that method which didn't work out for her. So that may be a little more of an advanced method.

I wouldn't consider using anything other than 99% iso alcohol, unless you like smoking the leftover residue also. What's the other 9%?

were do u get 99 iso there is no such thing and the alchahol evaps so before you speak know what your talkin about 91% iso the rest water frickin newbs

Frickin newbs... Ok broseph, I am new to this site, yes, but most definitely not new.

Here's a link for ya mang: you don't see it most drug stores because it's relatively controlled, but if not doing a butane extraction or CO2 extraction, this is the only way I go.

Edit: Here's a test for you; go get some of that 91% stuff and use it to clean an already clean mirror, wait til it evaps and look at what's left on the mirror. I don't want to smoke that myself, maybe you do, that's ok. I don't speak unless I know what I'm saying, so yeah...

blender hash has never let me down, just make sure not to puree it for too long, just a few short quick bursts after you make a slushie out of ice and water then add your leaves and reject buds.

Yuck isopropyl is not what I consider dab. Ethanol, hexane, isobutane is the best combination for co-solvent. Makes a nice yellow/orange oil. I stay away from isopropyl, the cheapest co solvent around. I would rather use naphtha than isopropyl.
