this has got me thinking... can a plant after showing its pre flowers in veg (female) change to a hermie later on? hope not
I know of only one way to be absolutely sure a plant will not turn hermie, it consist in re-vegging a plant witch as complete it's whole life cycle without showing any hermie sign. Take a clone from the re-veg & turn it into a mother plant, clones from this mother plant will all be hermies free.
Some hermies appear at the beginning of the flowering cycle but unfortunately other will turn bad at mid-budding stage. A small proportion of hermies appear in the last 2 weeks of flower, in this case they don't have enough time to cause serious damages as most hair are already dead

View attachment 2331350 Look at the the bottom see that white thing that's a flower starting,, right out of the pod... its starts of with a small horn then it burst open with a flower of almost Florissant white..

View attachment 2331351 see it now,, You guys sure have itchy trigger fingers.... LOL...
As stated, what you are describing is a male cannabis flower. Thanks for explaining where we were wrong in our thoughts, wait, you didn't, because you don't seem to know exactly what you are talking about.

And that method is no guarantee Geronimo, i grew out the exodus cheese cut for 3 years without ever having an issue, being that it is one of the most stable and hardy strains to be had, folk have done everything under the sun to try and hermmie it intentionally, then one day, while harvesting, i found a single tiny stem with some nanners and 2 seeds in it

Hermies aren't always genetic... you can still hermie a plant after doing what you just wrote, it just takes a lot of stress.

And DelQ that is most definitely a herm, and you said there were flowers, from a plant with pistils, that's female pistils with male flowers... put 2 and 2 together and you get?.. a Hermaphrodite!
