Would this be enough for a 3'x3'x72"

If it sounds too good to be true, it is. A decent 250 watt cob will run you somewhere around 300 dollars. This one "says" it's 1200 watts. It's not. It's not even close.

Scroll down the page and you'll see it's power draw is actually only 250-270 watts.

What these el-cheapo's do is use the max rating on the actual lights and circuits at certain frequencies and add them all together and call it a 1200 watt fixure. The reality though is that they're very cheap lights with very poor elements and very cheap, third rate circuitry.

It's like a cheap guitar amplifier for 300 bucks that says it's 200 watts of power, and then you come over to my place and my Vox AC 30 (which is only 30 watts) blows you out of the room. But, that's why it cost just over $1000 dollars.

Read the fine print. When the power draw on a fixture is only a fraction of what it's advertised to be, don't walk away...RUN. Like hell.
Very true. Im realizing all this. You get what you pay for. Kinda like Sub woofer amps. lol.

My quantums are 3000k my cobs are 3500k. I would say as an all rounder 3500k is most popular. Some like one over the other, both are great.
I followed the herd and went with 3500k for full cycle. I was in analysis paralyses and honestly, I'm not smart enough to understand all the spectrum math, so I just punted. Based on Roger A. Shrubber's excellent breakdown of the color differences, I'm really glad I went with 3500k because I have height limitations. Sometimes, ignorance is rewarded with luck! So, I got lucky and now I'm a little less ignorant. Win/win!

LOL! I wasn't planning on upgrading when I potted them up! Plus, that's supposed to be a Short Stuff #1 which rarely gets taller than 15" according to the breeder. It's 38"! I suspect a mixup with the seed (either the seed bank or me).
Lol that's autoflower right? Autos are capable of getting that big though if you take care of them right!

Yep. I'm a coward and do autos only (at least so far). Now that I can harvest enough to keep me from running out quickly, I may try photos soon. I really want to, but I'm a little intimidated by the idea.

Dude, photos are more user friendly than autos. If you can keep an auto that healthy in that pot, you're more than ready for photos. You can veg them for however long you want, bend them, cut them, mutilate them during this time into the plant you want, then flip to flower. Way more forgiving than autos. Believe me, you're ready lol

Thanks for the encouragement though! I will get over it and try soon. I will always consider myself a noob until I get over it.
