Personally I think that they see the handwriting on the wall and are hedging their bets.
So tell me dank, As a man of "principle" have you or do you shop at Wallmart? My son won't shop there, But I can't afford not to. My Afrin that is 9.60+ in wallgreens or any other store, some as high as 10.00+ is 7.85 at Wallyworld. Just one example, and that is USA made. From your signature, I'd assume you were staying away from that commie infested world.

No I don't, There are plenty of businesses that need our support.
When Walmart moves into an area there are a lot of businesses that suffer.

One question med, what does that have to do with what me and we tard were talking about.

Med The Businesses (insert Chinese Government here) in China pay very little to their employees (insert slaves here) (about 10 cents per hour) and then they send that CRAP over to the United States to sell at Walmart.
Sorry I will not enrich the Chinese Government on the backs of the Chinese people.
I have a Conscience.

Bravo, and you also have a job that I assume pays more than SS. I don't patronize Walmart exclusively, but I do take advantage of the slave labor, albeit 10 times removed. Those people working at Walmart also need their jobs and my contribution also helps them. They need to unionize and get their wages up. The truckers that haul the stuff, the dockworkers that unload the stuff, the wharehousemen etc. there are a lot of US workers involved in walmart. Yes I wish that all those goods were made in the USA for the same prices, and the middlemen (Walmart owners) didn't take advantge of the chinese, but in reality, it is the chinese factory owners that are enslaving the chinese people. They pay the workers like a penny apiece for the product and charge walmart 50 cents. I've seen a few documentaries about chinese factory workers and the owners, huge capitalists, living in castles with maids and servants, so I really don't feel that guilty. Call me thankful for the low prices

So, you may have to visit Walmart. I hope you find another job. No-one likes to work for free. I'm guessing you have some talent in the building trade, if so, I'm pretty sure you can find work. Like me, I suppose, you don't have enough capital to start your own business. I had the talent, but the Bonding issue in California to get any decent job was about 100,000 bucks. Without a completion bond, no general contractor would hire me, even though I'd brought 10-20 buildings out of the ground for them on my bosses liscense. To be successful, one must have luck on his side. Skill and determination are a great precurser, but luck is the best friend. Have you gotten to build any bank vaults yet? They are kind of interesting.

I Built one before when I was living in California. Construction isn't my only skilled trade. Actually My boss did me a favor, I got a job offer to drive trucks for a Multimedia company, they are willing to wait until my mom's situation is taken care of.
This company handles the lighting, Sound equipment and stage equipment for Concerts, car shows, televangelist ect. Starting Wage is around $70,000 a year plus $150 a day per diem as well as Hotel accommodations.... You stay in 4 Star Hotels.

I'm not too worried.

Explain the 500% increase in the price of gas in 7 years.
China and India.

Supply and demand.

The Democrat Party, at the behest of the Environmental lobby is doing its best, with their misdirected policies, to curtail the supply in this country. As I said, no new drilling. No new refineries built here in the last 37 years. No nuclear power plants being built. No oil from shale. No new dams being built for hydroelectric power. No drilling in Anwar. No new off-shore exploration. All of this because of your beloved Democrat Party, Med.

I'm sorry Vi, but this just doesn't cut it. The repukes have been in charge for 10 of last twelve years. The oil men in the white house, the pet of the Saudi Arabian king and the criminal oil speculators are the real culprits. Spin it all you will but thats the truth.

OK, I'll buy your logic if you do one little thing ...

List the bills that have come before congress authorizing: the building of new nuclear plants, off shore drilling, drilling in Anwar, new refineries, shale-to-coal, that ANY Democrat has voted for in the past 30 years.

I'll be awaiting your answer.

Vi, I know you have read me posting about "why can't the commercial trucks use bio diesel?"

I'm sure you have read about how easy it would be to convert our cars to hydrogen. Why can't you see that these people might possibly be soaking up every last bit of what they can before the public demands a new fuel?

Do you think the gov't will be able to tax your hydrogen that you make from your own home? They will have to raise taxes on water and electric in order to tax the hydrogen fuel. How do you think they feel about that? Once hydrogen is the mainstream fuel, than the gov't is going to be hurting for certain(I wonder how lucrative the current gas/fuel tax is for our gov't), and so isn't the middle east or whomever has oil fields(OPEC)

I believe the gov't is not our friend(at the moment) and there are people that are making millions and maybe millions off of the high prices. Fock gasoline costing 4 dollars a gallon!!! Its politics plain and simple.

I've always said they need to drill in ANWAR.... The thing is environmentalist can't have it both ways. They scream the loudest when we are having an energy crisis and yet we can't build refineries, drill for oil and such....
Either we do all of the above and live with the consequences or we don't do any then and still live with the consequences.
Can you say Catch 22? I knew you could.

Personally I think it's time to purge the nuts out of the democratic party, they have been in control of the party long enough.

Thats like half way across the world from my state:mrgreen:

It's time for the true water car.
I honestly don't think that its possible MedMan. I don't think a car can run exclusively off of water, it takes more power to make hydrogen than it produces. I would like for it to work like that, but I honestly don't think its possible unless you have a lot of batteries in your car. Sorry MM, I'm just being real with you..........

What I advocate is only having to pay for your water and electric bill instead of sending out money over seas to other countries. We could easily have hydrogen generators in our home. I would guess that we would be getting aprox 15 times more miles from our dollar. So if you get 20 mpg and you pay 4 dollars a gallon for gas, if we made this stuff(hydrogen) at home than we would be getting 300 miles from the same 4 dollars. (this is only an approximate guess because there are many variables, like how much you pay for water and electricity.)

But the problem with that is that the gov't wouldn't be able to capitalize off of the gas tax that we are currently paying. They would have to increase taxes on everyones electric and water whether they own a car or not.... Does that make sense? Thats why I say fock the current gov't... Inform the public!

Very well said, Dank. I couldn't agree more.

WE ...

Government will always find a way to tax. If they can't tax the fuel, they will tax the engine displacement. You know ... like an "Air Tax." :blsmoke:

Electrolysis is the most innefecient way of making hydrogen right now, and if everyone did it, we would se a monumental rise in electricty consumption. Where is all this extra energy going to come from? Is everyone going to have cryogenic tanks at their house to liquefy and store the hydrogen...and how exactly do you figure we could get 300 miles from 4 dollars...what makes you say this, where are you getting these numbers from?
