You tank ph will vary depending on the fish specices so you need to test it before watering your plants to prevent lock up or ph instability.I find soil grows do best at 6.5-7 depending on the soil brand.Aero always go 5.5-5.8 hydro can tolerater 5.5-6

the ph of a fishtank has no relevience to me...... and i would ph anything i put on my plants now. Filthy has some very good info to share im always listening. My tap is 7 so i have to drop it anyhow but i grow all organic and that requires that you ph

you may want to read around before you start answering all these questions dj in the last post you didnt even realize the guy was growing hydro and it was obvious same rules dont apply to both. You seem like a nice guy but people listen to what others tell them so you should be carful the info you give

Even a 10 gallon sounds like it will be too small for all that. Fishtanks depend on healthy colonies of bacteria to get rid of all the amonia and nitrates that are produced by the fish etc. When you overstock you are asking for trouble. Everything will be cool for a while then all the sudden everything will die on you when the levels get to be more than the bacteria can keep up with.

Yes but I found something that works just as good or better without the fishy smell:hump:

AND it is a lot more specific for marijuana growth. If fact it is made just for it. It has the bat poop and all kinds of yucky stuff but without the smell.

i use fish inside and it smells but the plants love it way more than the store bought fish stuff. I dont care about the smell if it works

This is absolutely true. Its probably the bestest mistake newbies make when purchasing a tank is to put too many fish in all at once. The health of the fish depend on this balnce of nitrates amnia etc and putting too many fish in at once OR taking out too much water at ONCE (more than 25% at a time)is gonna literally burn the flesh off your fish. They literally pollute themselves with their own urine.
This type of thing doesn't happen in normal wildlife.:?

Fish emulsion is not dirty fish water - it is ground up fish, turned into a paste and reconstituted in water with some sulfuric acid for preservation.

yes you are all right but you can get fish shit also!

and Lacy bat shit is so great for ganja but i still like to use all of these and other smelly and non smelly ferts and soil additives. Thats why i have to ph everything all the time growing organic is rewarding but requires that you pay more attention

Fish shit is great shit!!!!
I just can't stomach it but my plants ALWAYS LOVE it without a doubt.

I have had the same ivy plant since about 1982 and I do give it fish poop water. Its up high about 12 feet so I don't smell it.

And I never pH anything. Too complex for me.

;)
