Would my ventilation be okay like this?

Okay I'm running a 1000 watt digital ballast in a dr150 I'm going to order out. Also a raptor hood with probably a hortilux or solis tek bulb and my question is.... I would like to run my ventilation: hood->carbon filter->fan sucking out-> exhaust hole outside the house..Would that be okay? And also would a passive intake be okay from inside the house? Going to use a 6" hood with a 6" hurricane fan.

Also I wanted to do it this way because I heard the air cooled hoods have leaks and I don't want smell to get through so I figured if I run my carbon filter after the hood but before the fan it will still suck the smell but no leaks

filter >> hood >> fan(sucking) is only way you can do it filter only has one useable end that I have seen. if your worried about leaks you can caulk your hoods or do a 100% sealed grow. if you wanna spend the cash I guess you could run a dedicated fan and filter for the hood just suck air from the room your tents in through the hood and back into the room with a filter that can handle air being pushed not pulled through it on the end sitting in the room

there is a problem. with sucking the hot air from the light. it will over heat the fan. you need to hook the carbon filter onto the fan and the fan will suck clean filtered air into the fan and blow air into the light then it goes out the window. its a very common mistake people suck hot air out the fan fails premature and shuts off burn there plants ! and the fan may not be covered under warty because of over heating.
