fox farmseems to be the choice for MJ. but i am a ghetto grower and i use all kinds of shit the only thing is most wal-mart/hardware store shit is really acidic (high PH) so MG will work just dilute it more than suggested.

miracle grow isn't supposed to be to great for cannabis. It does have a very high percentage of NPK, its 20-20-20, more than any nutrients you'd buy for cannabis, I havent grown a lot of weed but I've heard that miracle grow makes your weed taste like shit, but its super cheap and you would probably yield somewhat decent. If you have some money to spend your better off buying some botanicare pure blend grow, bloom, for $15 its organic and will produce some great tasting bud especially if you get some additives like 'Sweet' to go with it. I used that last year and it worked great, but this year I'm using Flora Nova, which i here works really well, it's even cheaper but it's not organic. I'm also going to try some E.B stone organic fertilizer from a local nursery, which comes in powder form that you mix in the soil. They have tons of different varieties at about 6-7 dollars for a 2 pound box. If you had plenty of money to spend you might want to try something from Advanced Nutrients, which is basically the most popular but most expensive. For example their organic Iguana juice nutrients cost more than twice as much as Botanicare. If you can find a hydroponic store in your area you'll theres plenty of brands to choose from. good luck

I'm using the MG all purpose for the veg and everything has worked just fine so far - even seen a burst of growth in just first feeding. Gonna move on to sum AN for flowering tho.

After reading many posts concerning this topic, I've come to notice something...

Any time you read, "MG will work," or "WalMart nutes work great," it's usually posted by someone who has ACTUALLY used said nutrients.
Any time you read, "MG sucks for MJ," or "Cheap nutes kill cannabis," it's usually posted by someone who read it in a post by someone else, who read it in a post by someone else, who read it in a post by someone who didn't know what the f*ck they were doing and overfertilized their plant(s).

Yes, plant-specific nutrients may be more user-friendly but if you know what you're doing (2nd grade math anyone?), you can get ridiculously close to the same quantity each of N, P, and K per feeding from department and hardware store nutes as you can from Super-Organic-Suckyourwalletdry-BoostieMcBloomandgrow.

having said this different fertilisers producing the same nutes can have better absorbing properties which help the plant flourish, i find organic fertilsers the best and keeps the soil healthy, MG just feeds the plant only, try using worm castings and worm tea, some bone meal, fish guts and dry chicken poop mixed with your soil should work a treat, also yeast in a pot. GL
In my experience i found MG to be the worst kind of nutes, although i cant say this as a rule only what i have done.

I wont be one of those that say that MG sucks. I used it for years growing everything from flowers to herbs to vegetables and of course "The Herb". If you dont follow label directions and use less than they say to, you can grow with it.

Now, I will say that I agree with Lemon Heaven when he said that MG is the worst kind of nutes you can use. Go as organic as you can. The difference in taste and smoothness is well worth any extra effort and expense that is involved.

I tried using miracle grow liquid feed in a hydro setup. Damn near killed my plants, but it was entirely my fault. I used WAY too much. Fucking stupid me. I used almost enough to water 200 sq ft in a 5 gallon bucket. Talk about nutrient burn!!!

I've used the pink and blue in soil and thought they worked pretty well. Then again I've never used any of the Super-Organic-Suckyourwalletdry-BoostieMcBloomandgrow in soil.

I used Super-Organic-Suckyourwalletdry-BoostieMcBloomandgrow brand nutes for about a year in my aero systems. I decided to do a soil grow indoors this summer and have been using those high dollar nutes to do it. After some minor nute burn and a calsium deficiency, I am finally dialing it in. Already, I can see the difference. I use Botanicare organic Pro Series grow and bloom, Liquid Karma, cal-mag and Sweet. I am not saying it is better than any other brand, it is just what I am used to.

I will check out the results and decide if it is worth it to continue using them in soil, or find something cheaper. Hell, I already had this batch of nutes and it is best not to let them sit around too long after they have been opened. I will go back to hydro eventually, but I felt like getting my hands dirty. lol

Miracle Grow is fine for any plant. People have been brain washed into believing in all the "cannibis" nutes which are the same thing in smaller doses. I use MG for veg and Jack's classic for flowering and grow great stuff.

lol.....Super-Organic-Suckyourwalletdry-BoostieMcBloomandgrow...I can see it's sticking! Should market my own brand of nutes and call them that.
