First time grower here just looking for some tips. I think i may have picked the worst time to start my first grow, but weed just became recreational here in AZ so i cant wait lol. We've been having daytime highs of 70°, and night time lows of 30°. Will i be able to yeild a decent amount with this weather?? And im growing outside as well.

Congratulations on AZ prop 207 and on your first grow.

Cold frame them and see what happens. What have you got to lose except a couple of seeds? What have you got to gain except experience?

Bob is always so helpful!

The temperatures probably won't work for growing. You could try but it probably won't yield much

No idea what your temps are like, but most likely your plants will not do well if started outside now. You might be able to grow some ruderalis/autos if you have a heavy duty double walled greenhouse. Better to spend the winter doing research, buying some seed starting gear, start them indoors during the winter and then set them out at the perfect time in the spring. Remember to harden them off outside little by little each day for a week or so before you plant them. Good luck!

If you have the money, you seem to be a good candidate for a grow tent (indoor growing). I don't personally think having a cannabis plant outside (even in AZ) at those temps is a good idea without insulation of some kind. Some strains are heartier than others, though.

For sure! Do it man, see what happens. Experiments are always fun. The only thing that is worrisome is the extreme differences in temp between night and day. The daytime Temps are fine tbh

Hell yea man most definitely a big diff in temp that's why i thought maybe a little greenhouse would make a nice diffrence for night time.
