This is just the area and equipment for the flowering room...

THE ROOM:

Its a backyard shed that is sandwiched between the side of my house and the neighbor's fence

My landlord was cheap and used the side of my house as one of the lengthwise walls

There is no insulation just bare 2x4's every 16 in on center

The roof has a lengthwise pitch 8 inches higher at one end(see artist's rendition")

The entrance to the shed is in the back yard(obviously)

58" x 96" x 81"(short end) - 89"(tall end)

I will be running lights off of a washer/dryer dedicated circuit. Everything else will be on another dedicated circuit.

Here's what I have :

LIGHTS

1 x 1000 WATT HPS MAGNETIC BALLAST
1 x 1000 WATT HPS/MH SWITCHABLE MAGNETIC BALLAST
3 x 150 WATT HPS MAGNETIC BALLASTS

AIR

1 x 400 CFM HYDROFARM ACTIVE AIR EXHAUST FAN(its old but has never been used) 115 WATT
1 x 5000 BTU HAIER (cools area 1000 - 1500 cubic ft) 450 WATT
1 x DIY AIR SCRUBBER(can't remember details but I know it's will suffice for this room)

WATER

1 x QMAX 1276 G/H ECOPLUS SUBMERSIBLE PUMP 14.7 HMAX 90 WATT

I wanted to do 2 side by side vertical bulbs

exhaust the heat from directly above the lights through ducting(or cool tubes if it becomes a necessity) into scrubber through ACTIVE AIR EXHAUST FAN out of the top of the shed.

for the heat I wanted to install the HAIER window AC into the upper portion of the shed

I have all the equipment for and would like to do a RECIRCULATING DEEP WATER CULTURE. I've set one up before but I never ran plants through it.

How would you suggest I position and setup the equipment?

Thanks in advance,

You will want to insulate and seal that thing up reasonably well or cooling will be very difficult and it may get really cold in the winter when the lights are off.

Some pictures of this shed will help us guide you further.

These are just pics I took at random. I haven't taken detailed pics of the shed yet. I plan on painting liquid rubber sealant to seal the interior.

I would hang one light in the far back and another in front of it. The width of the room is a limiting factor but you should be able run 2kW in there so long as you can cool it. Insulation will be important. I would insulate and throw up some sheetrock. If you need to run power do that first. The AC unit you have probably isn't large enough, if you can get a larger AC unit then you will have better luck cooling when it's warm outside.
