Take a read of the Micro Grow using 64w of CFL's in my signature to see what you can do.

a 20 watt cfl bulb wontdo anything you need 1 42 watt and 2 24 watt to get a growth rate of a 1/2in to 1in a week (not very fast but it will keep it alive until you get more lights and put reflective surfaces like foil or mylar
