Hello ive been growing about 18 months now. Like most starting in soil. Ive now moved to ebb n flow and im still a noob. Im producing good smoke but my yeilds are very amateur.

Anyway. I just finished a WOS Afghan Kush Special grow. 101g from 3 plants vegged for 7 weeks in 4x4 ebb n flow table using SCROG. Smoke was the best ive grown. Trich covered decent nug density and smelt is amazing.

I shop with Herbies seeds, they're reliable and discreet plus I got the Afghans free with my last order. Trouble is they don't have WOS Afghan Kush Special just WOS Afghan Kush. I really wanna grow this strain again but want the special.

Has anyone
1) Tried both WOS Afghan Kush strains.
2) Tried Dinafem OG Kush
3) Recommend another reliable seed bank in the UK.

I've never tried Dinafem of kush but it have heard all good things about it from smoke reports on this site and others.
I've never used Herbie's. I've only used attitude out of the UK. I can vouch for them 100%. Always timely and discreet. Great zelectione and good freebies. E dry seed I got from them so far has germed. They accept all forms of payment except MasterCard. I use visa anyway. You should try them out.

think its something in your setup that only allows you to get 100 grams from 3 plants, vegged for 7 weeks. That's only a little over an ounce per plant. I veg for 8 weeks and they look like trees. I'm hoping to get 100 grams per plant. How many watts are you running? How tall do your plants end at? Give some details of your setup and maybe someone can help.

They are 4 weeks under a 250w cfl and ive only added one dose of Plagron bat guano tea and some Botanicare Calmag +. I seem to grow well in soil and get better yeilds but my potency has never been there. I do have an 8000 BTU AC now though and before my temps in soil were high.

Perhaps its my ebb n flow table. I may brave soil again. Those plants will be mothers and I intend too SOG.

Don't docthe Dinafem OG kush, it's not a real kush at all, sweet smelling, and the potency is eh. Grows like an OG though, lanky and low yielding

1) I've grown both the AK Ryder (an auto) and the AK Special.
2) Also tried the Dinafem version.
3) I get all my beans from the UK via Attitude.

The AKR was one of my favorite autos. It grows out more like a non-auto in that the shape is more filled out than a typical bean-pole auto. Product was excellent -- A-/B+. Grew out the special and cured 14 oz. from a 10 bean pack. Solid A-. Wasn't impressed with the Dinafem version.

World of Seeds has some great bargains in their variety packs. Sounds like you are in an experimenting mode and I suggest one of the WOS variety packs.

Just finished a grow of both. Last time around it was just the kush. Both are pretty good. Not disappointed. These two grew very similarly. My favorites right now are CSSH (Delicious), Jack's cleaner and Qleaner (TGA) SLH (Greenhouse) Satori (Mandala) NL x Big Bud Auto (Royal Queen). FCJ (Delicious) :peace:
