Worried About Harvest -

My first plant is finishing up, it has almost no smell at all. I harvested a little and hung the buds after trimming. They look decent however they are very LIGHT and just smell like green plants not like weed. Everything is in a jar now and I am opening it a few times a day to air but still no smell.

Can I expect anything different after curing for another week or did this crap bag seed + new grower produce crap smoke.

Of course the grow room smells but the BUD from the plant doest lol...

Did you grow all the way 'till the end and let it flower for at least 8 weeks?

I haven't heard of mj plants not having a distinct smell to them. If you pinch the top of the buds, it should have a nice sweet smell to it and your fingers should become sticky.

Buds tend to smell awesome when you first cut them.
Then as they dry they smell like hay (nothing you'd wanna smoke for sure) The curing is what brings out the nice aroma and the nice buzz but please get other suggestions.

This was at 8 weeks since I threw the light to 12 /12... I didnt cut down anything major just several little bud shoots at the bottom of the plant... 85% of the plant is still present and I was planning on cutting it up on Friday.

We have chalked this one as a learning experience but had hopes of smoking some and at least catching a buzz

The two biggest cola's are the size of soda cans but I am guessing they will be fluffy..

well its looks yummy. i dont know though. my grow starting reeking right away and smelt STRONG ever since...

ya im having the same happen to me so it must be normal

sometimes it has an earthy smell......not skunky,or spicy. I wouldn't worry as long as it does it's job......
