Worm's on my tomato plants HELP !

Ok so i had to go out of town for a few day's and came back to worms on my tomato plant's. they have almost stripped the leaves down to nothing, as i am growing organic is there anything natural i can use to stop this from happing again and what should i do about the plant's this is my first grow so i am super nervous.

Those look like cutworms. There are some organic sprays you can try. I just pick them off by hand and squish them. As far as stopping them in the future, I don't know. I see some every season.

Thank you so much. i guess i was on the right track because i spent the morning picking them off (there was a lot of them) again thank you for your help.

You need some BT. That is BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS subspecies KURSTAKI. Totally organic and totally harmless to anything but caterpillars.

I use THURICIDE concentrate myself, but Safers caterpillar spray is the same thing, but you're paying for a lot of water.

Been using it for well over 30 years mainly for tomato hornworms, but it takes care of many different caterpillars.

Yeah, that's what I get, those wicked looking hornworms. Big juicy bastards that click like an octopus playing the castinitas. :mrgreen:
I only run 2-4 tomato plants a season so I just pick them off. It's more work because you have to stay on top of them, but it's ok with just a few plants.

I have used a spray made from soap and tobacco with some success. It wears/washes off every few days, so you have to use it pretty often.

horn worms hand pick look for there shit getem before they get big,i grow many maters many kinds if u c white eggs on them leave them wasp lay eggs on them kills them off
