I new plant that had just sprouted stopped growing after about an inch before the leaves even opened up. I pulled it out to find very small black bugs crawling on it. So small that they were hardly visible. Then I found inside the stem that there were small, clear works like things crawling around. I googled it but all I can find it information on cut works. Any ideas? Thanks!

That sounds to me like multiple pests, id ditch it and start over after cleaning all the equipment well and checking the medium you used for additional bugs.
