Worm castings in coco for whitefly control

Been reading around a bit about worm castings used to control whitefly infestations, which happened to me last grow. I run 3 tents, one for veg and two separate flower tents as a staggered harvest. Whitefly got into all 3. I recently harvested from one tent and cleaned/bombed everything in it.

When i transferred plants from veg tent into their new pots, before i placed the plants in the coco i put a scoop of pelletized worm castings in the hole with some Great White microrhizome powder. The theory behind this was that the fellas said worm castings (guessing they just thought i meant organic non-processed stuff straight from the worm farm) , but I cigurwdif it was buried halfway down the depth of the coco it may be less inclined to attract pests and still hopefully do its job of making the plants less desirable to whitefly. Following this ive begun a few weekly applications of neem oil spray to the plants during veg. Im due to harvest my other flower tent in maybe 3 weeks. The infestation in there isnt near as bad and hopefully im keeping on top of it with my yellow sticky strips and squashing any bug i see but outside of chemical intervention i know im probably not going to be able to get them all but hopefully it doesnt get too bad in the next cpl of weeks. My plan is to just keep squashing those bugs, and keep on neeming my other two tents that are vegging atm until I harvest this last flower tent then ill probably just end up nuking them all with scaridfly drench.

What are peoples thoughts on using the pelletized worm castings buried under the rootball of the new plants? Does it sound like a good idea?
