Bad memories! I got urinated on by one of these guys in the zoo. My mother found it hilarious and I remember crying. Age 7.

It was devastating! It reared up to the fence with its ass facing me and as it started to piss; it used its little piggy tail to splash it everywhere.
I spent the rest of the day in hippo piss. Even my own mother wouldn't go near me. Great trip to the zoo.

The hippos at the Honolulu zoo are behind glass. Maybe for this exact reason. They had 2 for the last, idk long time, but one died this year. Kids made all kinds of posters for her, it was sad and cute at the same time.
