Maybe because she's more mature and has come to terms with it.
yes, maybe, but you have you understand... at that weight, she cant do anything but lay in bed all day. There is no walking, hanging out with people unless they come to her... she problably struggles to bathe and to feed herself... and im pretty sure that it may be harder for her to be in a relationship, etc...
what kind of life is that, wouldnt you hate life if life was like that?

What would she gain by feeling sorry for herself, except more weight? Maybe there is an underlying physiological condition which causes her ailment. Sounds dumb but maybe.
So what would you suggest, she off herself? If she is the way she is and feels it is the best she could be, why be sad? We all have shortcomings

I know an old woman nearly that big, maybe bigger, at one point she had some kind of toliet scrubber with toliet paper on it, thats how she wiped... no lies.. once your that big, only surgery can save you, the woman i know has to be lifted out of bed with a crane now, she cant exercise to loose the weight, and she's like 60 at least..

of course a diet might help lol.

Diet is for sure the way to go, it'll suck cuz you'll always be hungry. 3 meals a day, healthy well prepared food, she could do it. That alone will shave pounds off you within the first 2 months. It will also give you more energy and make you feel better, both of which will help you be able to move around and start at least walking. But you said she was 60, that's just begging to break a hip just from trying to carry all that weight around haha.
