World War 3?

Albert Pike has often been named as influential in the early Ku Klux Klan, being named in 1905 as "the chief judicial officer" of the Klan by a sympathetic historian of the early Klan, Walter Fleming.[12] He was cited as the leader of the Arkansas Ku Klux Klan.[13] However, this has been a controversial subject with Masonic authors saying that it "is impossible to either substantiate or disprove" involvement in the Klan.[14]

Albert Pike's mysterious letter to Mazzini, eh?
sigh...what a crock of ...I mean, WOW you dug up some real proof there. How can anyone possibly doubt that? It has a fancy background and serious fonts. That cinches it for me!

When are you going to say something highly controversial?
lol
uhh... i suppose it will have to wait until i correct my perspective on what i think most people would consider controversial.

Then again, RIU probably doesn't qualify as "most people."

I would guess "most people" would indeed find that previous statement quite controversial. Is my estimation of "most people" out of line? Or is it just that you guys aren't "most people?"

We are not most people and highly controversial is something along the lines of expressing happiness that a posters family members died in a fire in real life.

When you said the cold war never ended, it is pretty logical. It just morphed into something else. Computer espionage, manipulation of world events to cause the US to act against it's own self interests, etc.. Some obvious symbols disappeared but nothing really changed.

WW3 has begun? Well, probably for the people on the commercial air liner that was blown out of the sky. And all of the dead Arabs in Gaza this morning... However, I see world wars about one country or countries trying to dominate a huge chunk of territory. Now, if you want to argue attack by infiltration both public and private maybe it is true. But overall, a real world war is not in progress at the moment. The only countries that could wage one now would be Russia or China. And it appears that Russia's sights are set on the Crimea region and China is likely to take a few islands disputed with Japan.

Do you see either regional power trying to make a much larger land grab?? One that would force NATO's hand through treaty? Would our nobel prize winning commander in chief manage to find his balls in his wifes purse and act??

I think it's not impossible that the definition of "world war" can, and perhaps has, already changed... just as with the reasonable observation that "cold war" can evolve to mean something different than how we once defined it.

Plus, i'm sure that this precarious global superpower "balance" is at least somewhat respected by all players involved, and so they try to get away with as much as possible, without "forcing" NATO to get involved. It's kinda like how corrupt and/or overzealous police often get away with pushing or even crossing boundaries, but on a different scale.

I don't think this particular airliner incident "started WW3" at all. I simply insinuated that the definition of a world war has already changed, and that it's being "fought" already, in ways that are not commonly recognizable as "world war," by those who have previously existing definitions of that term.

Idk. It'd difficult to articulate a lot of this stuff. But IMO, it seems obvious that "TPTB" are constantly engaging in manipulations and counter manipulations, vying for control of various resources, not least of which is the majority of humanity itself. Humans are an important resource for the elite.
