World Of Seeds Afghan Kush Special SCROG

So im on my third hydro grow (second complete). My last grow was Sensi Seed Super Skunk. Yeild was poor but smoke was good. I had 16 plants but only yeilded 8oz 7grams. I uses RO water GH nutes with Fulvic acid and AN Rhino skin.

This time im doing things abit simpler with tap water and GH nutes. Temps are like before around 24C at canopy lights on and 22 lights off. Humidity between 60-70% in Canna hydroton and a 600w Sunmaster MH bulb.

These are two days after popping. I had them in a propogator with a heat mat and a 250W cfl.
Hand watered until roots were visible through drainage holes. Even at this point one of the plants was showing slight calmag deficiency.
Transplanting was not as easy as id hoped and the roots were exposed a tad. I thought this would stress them but i noticed growth the next day. The flood and drain table is 4X4 with a 100L reservior. All that has been added is Botanicare calmag which dealt with the deficiency. Today is the start of week 3 and I will be topping twice in all. I think they will be ready for they'refirst topping this weekend all together i plan to veg for 6 weeks.

Opinions and suggestions always welcome.

Ok so im back. Been a stressful period. I discovered I had green mold growing on my hydroton. This seemed to happen because I accidentally used an extra attachment on my overflow pipe so all the water wasnt draining. In a panic I added about a litre of diluted hydrogen peroxide. As you can see not very happy. These larger fan leaves are now yellow and growth was very slow. This was also around the time i topped them. I changed out the rez and fished out all the green hydroton. The plants are now perking up again but small for 5 weeks 3 days. They are 100% indica but still i feel they're small. Temps have been stable around 22C night and 24C day and my PH is between 5.8-6 with at 910 (water is 440).

New main stems are established now so I done some LST today. I did noticed today some new mold needless to say I wont be using hydronton peroxide. Believe it or not ive read skimmed milk mixed with water is an antidote 1 part milk to 10 parts water.
If you have any suggestions I would like to hear them. Thanks for reading.

Nice very nice too ...algae grows in nuted solution but needs light to make the chlorophyll, use black paint or tape to make life difficult for this annoyance

Not really it may attract bugs, there was a post on how to run your car on algae if you have enough of it ...lol but a good wash of household bleach 10% and hot water with your hydroton at the end of the grow is a good idea, and foilar sprayed neem oil will deal to any bugs in the algae

Bit of a smash and grab net made from nylon twine. Every time I tighten one another goes slack...oh well. Plants are back looking healthy and growing well I think I can even see some pistils.

Now thats what I call a weeks worth of growth. I have confirmed pistils will be flipping in the next 24.

Also totally unrelated I had a dream about the woman in my avatar. She's called Gemma Arterton...she said she only wanted me for sex. She walked into her house and left the front door open. Then I woke up.

Second days since flip. Keeping night and day temps around 24C humidity is 49%. Stretch is already in affect hoping to keep internodal length compact.

i prefer 4x4 rockwool cubes over hydroton on my 4x4 ebb n flow, 20 plants, and yield 1/2 lb every run. i just put 4 world of seeds afghan kush seeds in paper towels to sprout.i ran sensi super skunk fem seed and it really sucked, smelled like cut grass. couldnt give it away..very disapointed w/ sensi ss, but the skunk1 is good, produces and finishes in 50 days..hope this afghan kush is what im hoping for, its a landrace so should be stable to breed wright?

Im no pro 77 you would have to ask someone who knows about that kind of thing. But thanks for reading my journal. Did you have any problems on your Sensi Seed grow. A friend of a friend said my shit was the best smoke they had (dont think they were a connoisseur) would be interesting to know.

i bought 5 feminized super skunk seeds, only grew 1 so far, and was really disapointed, no skunk smell, no yield, very little calyx's and crystals..it grew fine just was crap..im growing sensi's skunk1 now, way better, crystals and nice colas,happy with it. i also have shiva skunk seeds but havnt planted them yet.. i have over 100 strains, and have a hard time deciding what to try next, cant plant anymore now, have 5 strains growing, 2 fem seeds1 month in and popping 4 afghan kushs too, hard to keep so many strains at once but im searching for that ultimate producer, with the couchlock effect..grow well..

I have heard afgham ticks most boxes. Almost 100% indica so flowers at around 8 weeks and is short and bushy. Not too hard to grow. Powerful smoke to at over 20% THC. Not to smelly but has smells good.

i grew original afghan kush by seedsman seeds last year, finished in 6-7 weeks, short,bushy,nice colas and produced black hash that was top notch..i had just moved and had lost her wile building my new rooms, i hope this world of seeds afghan is like the seedsmans..i still have 8 seedsman kush seeds left so if these arent what i hope for ill plant the seedsmans again..i have an og kush, and a dynamite fem that are 1 month old, ill need another month before cloning them, but i really hope the dynamite is worth the 20 dollar seed price, the og from reserve proda was a freebee and looks almost identical to the dynamite, both are on there 6th set of true leaves about 8 inches tall..i planted both the same day and both are the same height, even the leaves are damn near identical,high hopes..
