So people that already run a perpetual grow...and crop a few lbs a month...want to pay 2500 bucks for Clones that they should have the skill to take themselves? Then they want to lose out on a very sizable chunk of their fairly small time operation.....why? They must have their own customers. It's insane to give up a quarter of your profit...doesn't make sense to me. 10 dollars + per clone when buying hundreds? Not many people are as stupid as what you describe dude.

Id give you two much more likely scenarios.....1 they are fucking cops or narcs looking to set you up for federal charges.

2 and way more likely in my mind. They think that you have a big time operation going and want to rob you

Oh...and....why in the fuck would you be telling anyone..much less strangers about what you do? You won't last long in this game that way dude. Not trying to be a Dick just keeping it real. I've been in the game a long time and understand just how much greed drives people.

100% correct.

It sounds all the more suspect as they're recruiting at the Apple genius bar.

Titty bars and go-go bars maybe but at Apple's flagship stores, less likely.

...high man, i'm still new around here so i haven't had time to come to know your system yet but i know a thread that might could fit into your system quite nicely, ...it's mainly a thread on keeping and maintaining bonsai mothers but in it you will find information on cloning in straight perlite, ...he does it in bins so he is able to fit quite a few clones in a small space, especially if the cuts are all clone sisters.

**DrBuds Bonsai Mum's- How To for You**
nice thread,he knows his shit!
my system is still in progress, i'm slowly switching everything to passive hydro including my moms soon enough and now my clones, one day everything i grow will sit in 2" of nutes...

I'm primarily a seed guy but I too am 100% with clones stabbed into a party cup of coco coir when I need some...glad to see someone go straight into 2L. It has to be faster to the finish line....
it seems to me that this cuts out a shit load of time/work, but like mobius said, it takes a lot of space up, luckily im spoiled for room.
it may be as fast as having a good aero/bubble cloner ect, the roots would probably grow quicker in these systems but i wont have any stress transplanting so maybe about the same. i have just tried a few bubble cloner diy jobs and coz i took loads more cuts than i needed, i kept myself in the game but overall i failed with it lol. i have only ever cloned in rockwool (love it!) and soil, and this feels a lot like soil to me

I have a bunch of clones I need to take today. Would you believe it, on Christmas day? LOL. Plus I need to do some feeding. First, Im going to eat some pudding, let it digest and smoke another joint.

Cloning in 2L's will certainly speed up the process. On my last run I put a bunch of clones rooted in 1"rockwool cubes on top of my 2L's. The roots migrated to the res in just a few days to a week. Although they weren't fresh cuttings, it proved to me that by planting early any transplant shock is reduced to near zero.

ATM, I clone bare-root in the aero until roots get about an inch or two, then into the 2L.

Hey guys I need some advice. Well I met some fellow growers here when I was at the apple store. The tech was a grower. Well me and my partner met them up and came to an agreement. I would help them push all their product and I get 33 percent. And I also agreed to sell them 240 rooted and vegged for two weeks clones for 2500. Did I make a good deal? They are growing perpuetual 3-5 lbs a month. I get 1000 per lb. plus the 2500 a month. It's alot of extra money but idk if I'm getting myself in over my head
If we fail to hear from u in the near future, I will not be shocked. I can't believe what some peeps will fall for these days. The deal you were offered is a complete sham. Ask yourself this.. Would you give the same likely deal if you had you/crew, set up and running a smooth operation (moving some good weight). Then decide to ask someone you don't know at all, to have a nice sized slice of the pie!!! Sounds like a federal charge shortly my friend. I pray you didn't give them your name and/or show them your own set-up. If so, the smart move would be to do just that, MOVE!! Always, always ask yourself the first very important question in any illegal scenario. Would you offer the same likely deal to a complete stranger. I'm sure i've missed out on some deals, but for the amount that were true compared to the ones of being set up. I'm sure my time in prison would still be active. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and that it isn't to late already. Peace!!

Talking about my setup on RIU and WOH takes away any urge I may feel to blab to others.

I must admit, when you first start growing, pride can make you say more than is sensible. I made a few foot-in-mouth errors. After a while you realise its not about rocking the boat on a good thing.

I have neighbours that ask if I can get them anything. Although I could sell to them and make money, I just won't take the risk it brings.

being wrong 100 times and missing out on possible deals is much better than being right once and getting arrested/robbed/killed! always ways risk vs reward...your right about greed,it breeds animals...

I received a pair of Lumii glasses for Christmas. Just thought I'd show the difference, if even through a camera. These glasses are a must have for a fraction of the cost! My eyes are sensitive to the grow lights and these have worked wonders.

Here's a look at where I'm at. 1st coco bucket. Day 40 This plant really makes me want to go for the one really large plant.

You may have noticed the burnt tips and the "Claw". I gave her a 2nd pk boost and it was too much.

These are the 2 extra from the last seed run that I didn't top or re-veg. The one that I didn't super crop showed a lot less stretch and stouter branches so I tried to pollinate it with the tripod, I hope she was old enough for the sex. Also I really wonder about the super cropping, I maimed this plant and shes almost straighten up again.

And yes the supchaka beta 1 (smartpot hempy) is doing really well, it even overflowed properly, I do believe that because there is no hole in the smart pot that it holds a slightly higher rez level

Parting shots of the veg box with the re-veg girls, I'm gonna do some more topping in the next couple of days. I'm thinking these 3 could be under a scrog screen next yr.

Wattsaver, do you feel the coco medium has been a contributing factor for you this time around? Maybe your CRF's?

Thanks for sharing this info, my eyes have really gone to shit in past years. Other than age, the various LED's and HID's I encounter daily could be my worst enemy.

I might have to get a pair myself I wonder if they're more effective than a pair of welders goggles. ..... Its not worth risking ones eyes although many will go years without even considering it.

Watt, I'm starting to think that growing larger plants is the way to go for myself as well. The issue I am faced with is the fact that having so many plants in the tent makes it hard to water. Having the tent open for a half hour is really stinking up my place (temporarily). By having a smaller number of larger plants, I can get away with having the tent open less and resolve the smell issues I'm faced with. The grow room is located by my furnace which is picking up the wonderful perfume and venting it throughout the house (NOT GOOD).
