Told ya...ya'll thought I was crazy I told ya everything right now is just experiments, but I learned from this one
Bingo. There it is.

I "learned" how to grow an f-load of gnats. Whee!

I learned at least one way to *not* make an f-load of gnats too.

(hint: do not pack 36 2 gal smart pots into a tent and then switch
to a soil that holds *zero* water == swamp anyone? ;0)

You are completing the cycle and getting buds. That is cool.

I am happy to sample my bugs...uh, buds...now that they are
finishing the initial cure. The Qrazy Train is very tasty.

Take care,

JD

Thumbs up to Wattsaver and Psilocybindude! I don't want to bug you any further, but thanks for answering the questions in my PM's. I picked up a bottle of Cal-Mag today. The tops on the clones (Bubbleberry, Apollo 11, Holland Sharkk) in my mini-hempy's are a bit more light green, and abundant, than usual so hopefully it helps. I'm trying to work my way up with nutes, as opposed to scorching plants by being too aggressive. Up to this point I've been growing in a promix-perlite combination. As for all the other contributors on this thread, and other hempy threads (that would be you, Jela), my thanks to you as well. Iamopa, it finally clicked what your handle means. Not an Opa myself, but I may well be older than you! Shivaskunk, looking at the photo you posted, you're a cola teaser! Whocares, I liked your photo too, although I have to admit my mind flashed to the gym and the svelte young women with store bought, uh huh, hempy starter cups! I'm very much looking forward to joining this club. I've prepped eight, two gallon buckets (I'm realizing that's overkill) for the huge sum of $2 apiece from a dollar store. (The Goop to cement the screens in place cost more!). I've also made about a dozen mini-hempy buckets out of 750 gram (not sure what that is in the real world) yogurt containers, and a big Kraft Peanut Butter container. (I think that will be the ultimate mini-hempy starter unit. I just have to eat a hell of a lot more peanut butter). Five of eight plants in flower are coming down this weekend, with the other three due in about two weeks. In Canada, you never want to wish away summer, but I can't wait to get started in a couple of weeks!

Pcinla, you got that same "hempy fever" I had at one time.....I feel better knowing I'm not the "Lone Ranger". Now go have some fun with this thing...BTW, KFC chicken buckets are on my list so don't go there. I want to be the first.

Who-kie, I would never ever considered you crazy...BTW, the stink problem is the "cheese" cross down in that basement. Let's get you some fruity strains next grow...then we can get you some crazy!

Yes Jela, it's the cheese and diesel...I popped 25 more diesel beans today, they are good producers, and that's the one that got germed with the cheese I think, so time will tell...none of them may grow? I don't know

I need to grow plants all the same size, so it's worth a try, it's hard when I have one seed of this and one seed of that

Dropped 4 nice small ones on folgers cans today I find the bases more stable, Put them under CFL to start the vegging......and besides I have about 20 folgers and maxwell house cans, If these ones get done soon I may be able to change the bulb to MH and give them some vegging under that or put my t5's back in use.

Everything went under the light cause of heat issues in the previous areas...and remember this is just for my personal use...so I don't have to worry if I lose a few...I have more seeds

WC, if you want plants that grow identically, to the degree possible, then
you will want to grow out a mother and take a ton of clones. You can easily
get 50 from a medium sized mum.

Good luck. Nice beans a-popping!

I'm not good with clones yet....and I can't keep mothers I kill them or bloom them, seeds of all the same kind is easier for me...I'm not in any hurry...But thanks JD

No worries.

One of the things to maybe set up in the future is a small mothers/clones area.

I manage most of a closet nicely with just four T-8 bulbs. That is the nice part,
that though they need to be on 24/0 they are cheap to run.

Good luck,

JD

Anyone can be good with clones, all it takes is the right Rubbermaid tub, an air pump, air stone and aquarium air line, throw some floros on top of it and you've got yourself a 95% success rate...

My Lemon Skunk clones look like garbage :( The timer on my pump failed and i didnt notice for maybe two days. But now they all seem to have roots. Just gotta get em back to shape.

Whats your take on foxtails :)?

If you want to try the mail system again I have a crapload of seeds. Some are genetically stable and some are a stress hermie crossed with healthy non hermies...which means all female but some could hermie on you if youre not careful...A wide selection of very good genetics in there

Oh is that a dare??? Well it's so top heavy it keeps falling over..View attachment 2747156 she is lanky, but top heavy, I did not top them when they were little I wanted to see how big they would get naturally...so lesson learned

BTW she is in a 2 liter snapple bottle

You're picking this hobby up fast! You should try out some LST or super cropping on some small ones. I think you would like the result..you're already getting colas...shit it took me more than a few grows to get colas lol. Just wait till winter with nice cool temps..so much nicer.

4 footer in a pop bottle!

Hydro..

Almost all of my girls this run have lots of foxtailing. Heat is a big cause...but if its just at the end of flower like yours on well formed buds its no biggue at all...and they make perfect'bong hits.

I started to bring them out into the big sun in the late flowering. I think thats what caused it.
Shit! Waiting in line for the doctor on the phone. Went from 13 to 5 and now i just got hung up on :/

I usually LST or top at least, but most of these were growing while I went on vacation so 2 weeks with just basic care...so I let them grow to see how they did, it did not matter to me wheather they lived or not. Not sure I'm going to continue to grow...it's a lot of work and possible problems without a reason...I may finish these and then put things away for awhile..when he was here, at least he was legal...I have more than I need for my personal use now...
