Oh yes! They simply flower based on a time stamp and not by varying photoperiod..(Ruderalis gene).Autoflowers can be males?
I would have to say yes...my plants were clearly autoflowers and 2 were male. (they were sold as non-fem)Autoflowers can be males?
Nice looking plants m8! Dont take me as any pro whatsoevah. I see you have had some minor problems along the way. But dont we all somehow. Yet the girls produce. My guess would be you are good for 150g+roughly 0.25 g/w is the aim.. 112g from a 600w
Guessing a yield is really a hard thing to do, but I'm sure you will be quiet pleased with the results and may even exceed your expectation. Just take the things you have learned from this grow and apply them to the next and compare those results, the more you grow the better you will get along with the plants. Stellar looking crystals on those buds, lots of future bubble hash for sure.Hello to everyone in this amazing thread, really helpful..
Just a quick photo update, about day 38 (since 12/12)
Havent been able to get to the plants much during last 2 weeks, but as of Monday all operations are go go go..
new growth looks lovely and green? seems to be filling out nicely..
any comments would be welcome, fist time growing hempy, using HPS and actual cannabis nutes, rather than lawn feed.. I think they look ok?

most garden or flower shops will have straight perlite...or hardware stores like Rona, Home Depot, or Walmart, Costco, etcHey everyone. I am starting a hempy bucket grow. I know you should use perlite. All the hydro stores around me dont have any. All the other places have it but its with miracle grow. I was wanting to know if I could use small fish aquarium gravel? Its cheap and in all colors. Would this work or would it be to heavy for plants?
well walmart. lowes, home depot all have miracle grow perlite. The 2 hydro stores here dont have any, when they do its like all powder. The perlite there sucks. Thats why the gravel question. Thank you for the reply.most garden or flower shops will have straight perlite...or hardware stores like Rona, Home Depot, or Walmart, Costco, etc
I'm really not sure about the aquarium gravel....but the perlite is also cheap and re-usable...and lighter to pack home
Did your hydro have coco coir?....it's a great medium in hempy buckets (especially for new growers) and will most likely change your mind about ever using perlite unless the extra cost is a factor.....we have seen the gravel medium brought up by someone trying to "wick" moisture into it with cloth but they were not having much luck and water doesn't travel upward in gravel via wicking itself.. Maybe if they still hang here they can chime in. Gravel would be better in constant recirculating top-down trickle-feed hydro method (bubble-ponics). It might make a nice medium for the reservoir of a hempy...but you would have to get a feel for when its time to water...bucket would be heavy, even when dry.Hey everyone. well I have a brick of coco coir. So that would work in a hempy bucket? Is everything the same just instead of perlite, you would just use the coco coir?Did your hydro have coco coir?....it's a great medium in hempy buckets (especially for new growers) and will most likely change your mind about ever using perlite unless the extra cost is a factor.....we have seen the gravel medium brought up by someone trying to "wick" moisture into it with cloth but they were not having much luck and water doesn't travel upward in gravel via wicking itself.. You could use the miracle grow perlite just fine, I would suggest washing it first which will help remove some of the nutrients they have added. Understand when you first plant in it with a new seedling you will be giving it plain water which will drain to waste and remove even more of the nutrients. My first attempt at Hempy's was with this very medium, washing it also removes the very fine powder which will otherwise settle in the bottom of your container and take up space.well walmart. lowes, home depot all have miracle grow perlite. Yes, this will work also and as Jela said may change your mind about perlite. You might want to rinse the coco a time or two after you get it expanded though, some are not buffered and have a high sodium content which can be reduced by rinsing.well I have a brick of coco coir.
