All this talk of hash oil made me go out and do something about it.

!!!!!!THIS IS AN OUTDOOR SPORT ONLY!!!!!!

1st of 3 piles of bud

Can full 35 grams later.

Ready to go  2 cans of vector, and a chilled pyrex pan (a chilled pan slows the butane boiling and reduces splatter)

Cans emptied

Little more than a hr later, huge oil bubble to pop, It will now get covered and put into a cool cabinet for a few days, then pop any bubbles again and let is set for a wk or so.

Here's a few photos of some slow heat process I did last wk. I use a heating pad and turn it on and off to keep the temp around 80 and pull it like taffy and let it resettle slowly into a blob again. Last shot show my screw up, I left the heat on low over night and dried it down further than I wanted.

Nice one WattSaver. +rep

I'll be making that when the remaining of my cheese crop comes in. The plan is to make a bit of jelly by mixing some BHO with bubble. Although BHO mixed with some finely ground GDP would also make a nice smoke. :weed:

All this BHO stuff reminds me of freebasing cocaine in the '80's. Man I'm so glad I have lungs left after those years.....

Dank/Moeby, say you guys show some of the best bud pics ever seen on RIU...are there settings you deliberately set on your camera to bring out the natural color we all see? Lately, even with my new Sony, if I'm not shaking too much it still comes out looking yellowish, like my plants are cal/mg deficient. I hang out in the "auto/easy" setting mode...wondered if you could share your success with us.

Had a good day today, Last week I switched my plants from blooming in daylight to 9-am to 9 pm, I switched a few days ago and it has been ok...I changed as it's getting warmer here and it will continue to heat up more during the day...so now they run 9pm-9am so I still check on them morning and night

Thanks, thats really nice of you to say Jela...lol.... a bit of WOH bias me thinks but nice still.

The camera I use is a Sony Cyber Shot. .. probably the cheapest entry level model.

I hangout on the 'close-up' option and haven't ventured further. .... I add flash whenever I can. ... I don't think the MP (MegaPixel) setting makes a difference unless Zoomed into and cropped with post editing. I did take a 12MP once of the trichomes then zoomed and cropped it for WOH, looked OK I guess. .... The only other thing I sometimes think about is light-sources, although I rarely bother doing anything about it.

Slowly but surely I hope to start taking better pictures, I plan to build a little DIY photography light box when I get some time so I can take some proper pics.:peace:

Just wanted to share with all the hempyneers out there! Had to move my sister this weekend and she had a lot of furniture she wanted to throw away so instead of paying a dump I would burn it in my fire pit. Damn I really hate moving people! Oh well that is what you do for family! Happy Easter Everyone!IMAG0801.jpgJust for reference the shed is 12 feet tall in the front! Had someone stop in my driveway thinking my property was on FIRE!

Happy Easter!

That fire just looks great man. ... The pic really catches the intensity. Enjoying a fire is probably the oldest form of uniquely human activity. I think it's possibly hard-wired into our brains. You see peeps enter a trance like state just staring at them. Great stuff.
