World Of Hempy

Thanks Moebius, they are doing great! The plushberry is by far the biggest yielder. The plush's are 27" and have a spiraling staircase of bud sites all the to the bottom of the stem. I'll have to take some pics tomorrow and post. Qrazy train is winning in the frost area. Everything smells of berry candies in the tent. It's delicious and often find myself staring at them for a long time without realizing how long.
Dank, have you ever grown The Flav?

I'm gradually moving from Mapito to CoCo and I've found the brand of nutes I want to try next in my 2L's. I'm very happy with GH FLora series as base nutes but just want to try something different for CoCo. I'm going with the 'Hesi' CoCo series. Hesi are a well known Dutch manufacturer and very respected in Holland and Europe.

It's a one-part formula with 5ml/liter of either grow or bloom through-out the grow. Just have to mix additives as required.

Nice so ya think coco might out shine vermiculite and perlite? Funny I was going to to a trial run with coco in 2l's. So how's the GDP going along in your sog?

My experience tells me No medium necessarily 'outshines' another. Its more about ease of use, cost, recyclabilty. .. I'm happy to try most things if I think they might work.

Its a hard pull moving away from Mapito. .. but I need to do some Coco Hempy grows to broaden my experience.... The GDP is an amazing plant in SOG. Actually its probably in my top three strains EVER. The calyx's on GDP swell up so fat its incredible. ... I'm getting more purple, partly due to lower temps but I suspect the addition of a little more (N) has also helped bring out the purple.

Ive not done Perl/Verm Hempys for a while now. Its just because I need to carry it down to the growroom, and I hate when it spills. Also I wanted something with a different moisture/wicking action.

Nice. What's the specs? I.e # of plants, medium, lights, veg time etc?
Blue dream seed from HSO. I popped 2 seeds, this one grew tall and wide. The other is still going but will be done in about a week. 4 gallon coco hempy. Vegged about 3 weeks under 600w mh and flowered under 600w hps. Blue Planet elite series nutes with liquid blue bud enhancer.20130209_213854.jpg an older pic (front left)

hey Moebius...good to see you back in action

my hempy is looking a bit unorthodox, but in reasonably good health
Good to see it doing well man. Its lost that over-watered look it had and is growing nice. The twisting of the leaf is quite normal in many strains, they tend to grow out of it in a couple of weeks. How tall or short is the container? Ive noticed a lot of people cutting them down low, I know yours isn't a bottle but I prefer a taller bucket for more roots.

Looks nice though. How far along in flower now?

What a fantastic 'true' Sea of Green, Shiva. Very inspirational. Nice work.

edit;

looking at them again, I don't think Ive seen such long pistils on a plant. Love the way they stand straight up searching for pollen.

The GDP needs almost NO trimming. Just removal of a few fan leaves, a few light snips and hanging upside down. ... I REALLY LOVE this plant. lol

That GDP is fucking gorgeous. The sandwidow is very branchy but didnt stretch a ton. I was told that its an Afghan x white widow.

The outer cashew container is the same height as the decapitated 2 litre pop bottle, but the jar has a parabolic base so it increases the total height by about two inches.

Yes, I was also thinking it looks like it's in the flower mode but yet I have not deviated from 18/6....could this be an auto-flower? (they were purchased as "assorted outdoor seeds").

Or maybe it’s my new grow room with a 600 watt HPS, as they have been growing like a weeds on steroids since being there for the last 4 days.

I do not believe those are flowers but rather little shoots stretching for the light, but then again I've been wrong before…. on more than one occasion.

Yeah Moe, I was a little worried with you missing in action....glad you are back.
DNA Sharksbreath, can you believe the difference between from Friday @ transplant and the following Sunday (3days)? I haven't even saturated the coco/rockwool, just splashed in a couple of liters light nutes during transplant.

Haven't grown the Flav yet, but the pics I've seen show its one frosty bitch! So far, plushberry and qrazy train are the only TGA beans I've popped. Sub's stuff is very resinous though. Next round, I'm going with LA confidential, kosher kush, big buddah blue cheese, and pineapple express :)

I believe. lol. ... 1 day in Hempy time is equal to 1 year in Human time. (just made that up) :-P

Very nice lush growth on that Sharksbreath. It has that broad-leaf that I like. some look a bit like the Canadian Maple leaf. Can't wait to see what the bud looks like on that strain.
