Those PK were very pretty. I am hoping my "PK" is something similar. I just took clones off both PKs, once they are rooted I will flower them for sex. PW is awesome, I love it. The breeder pack showed almost black buds and lush green leaves. A few purple fan leaves would make me happy!

Damn dude i want some Purple Stuff!!!!:clap::clap:
You know I have the clones........

The grow room is doing well today. Buds are swelling, responding aggressively to feedings..... Veg plants are doing good and growing rapidly. I have everything for the next run in 3 gallon pots, so there will be no more transplanting until they get flipped for flower...... Transplanting has shown to be a lot of work and that has been in shortage lately......
Somehow a breaker flipped while vaccuming this morning. Fuck.... Didn't notice for an hour and the grow room hit 96 degrees. No lights turned off only AC and misc fans etc.. Once I reset the breaker, I put a large boxfan in the crawlspace access, blowing 2400cfm of cold air down into the grow room. Its cold and snowing so it cooled it back down to 85 within a few minutes and slowly heading down. Waiting til it gets to 70 and then I will remove the fan and theAC will takeover again...... AC works the best when its not working fulltime......

Got the clones out immedietly when I noticed the temps because they would be the first thing to bite the dust......
All is well now....... Kept me on my toes......

MOTHERFUCK!!!!!!!!!!
I was confident I had everything under control last night as I went to bed. The plants wake up at 9:00, I woke up at 11:00 today, and find the grow room 100 degrees. THe AC was running! The AC may have lost its oomph. Not sure what the fuck is going on. I got the temps back down quickly once again but shit can not go on like this. Im not feeling to cool about running 1800ws not air cooled in a bedroom.

Yeah, that is definetly the biggest drawback to vertical unless you put them in cool tubes with vertical ducting. Did the clones survive this heat wave?

Yeah that sucks, especially with a room full of plants. Sounds like something inside your AC crapped out. You could maybe put that fan upstairs on a timer, to blow the colder air in every os often, or maybe on steady low, to control it until you replace the AC.

Thanks Integra and Doe. THe clones were taken out right when the heatwave was noticed and they are all doing well under some 48" tubes downstairs with some houseplants and herbs etc.

I ended up shutting off the (2) 400w mHs. I then decided to doublecheck everything. AC exhaust looked all good and all at first glance, and then I started feeling around the window. Note it is 15 degrees outside. Super hot, the AC duct split open behind the window covering and was passively venting hot hair into the room, AKA all the hot air was stuck between the window and the Panda that blocks the light out, and was passively venting back into the room rather than to the outside.

Sealed it up and temps are dropping fast.
Temps were 90 yesterday morning and then around 80 all day, 80 all night, 100 this morning and back down to regular temps(75 degrees at lunch today)

Any input on a 24 hours of hot temps affecting plants?
Hope I didn't stunt growth or hermie anything

Wonder, glad you got it figure out, but a question for ya - if you have access to that cold of air, what are you doing running the AC in the dead of winter for?

Not sure if for security reasons it's a necessity, but simply for the power savings I'd have to investigate ways to use that cold air.

I'm loving the temps of ~50F in my garage right now - I can lock in whatever temp I want in my tent to the degree.

Other then that grow's looking great; I'd comment more but vertical growing is above my pay grade (and I'm kinda jealous) ;-)

youu should be good.. 90 degrees will just cause your plants to grow a bit... but only 24 hrs wont hurt much..

Bob I hear what you are saying. My idea is a motorized damper/ fan controlled by a thermostat. The AC has a thermostat so it was easier to start with, but could cut some energy usage.

Thats great, thank you...... Hope all is well in your round

Next time, In my chaotic process, I will be bringing in the snow, to temporarily cool the room down.

Thanks Doe. I was so jacked up earlier. I was 99 percent positive the AC bit the dust because it just wasn't working right, but I wasn't getting the typical results of when the duct falls off. Heading over to your territories.
