look man, i'm just kidding, you don't need to LST it yet, but you can bury the stem if stretching stresses you out.

ohh its white widow? yeah then its definatly going to be small for the first few weeks, I know mine were. this is how they looked at about 3 weeks, then after week 4 they exploded with growth, id get u a recent pic but its lights out time now


this is them after 2 and a half months with some topping and training

the second one is smaller because it had ph problems midway through the second month and was stunted a little, its much better now though ill post a pic tomorrow of both of these

Thanks for pics makes me more at ease. And Icebox...that was a close one...don't toy with a noob..lol In all honesty I probably wouldnt have done it for fear of breaking stem...lol...

thinking back on it I think there only 2 months old there, it was so long ago now I vegged them for a little under 3 months, here they were a week or 2 before I started flowering

There you have it, you're growin white widows Gladly, it's popular a while. I've heard these come out like this, soon they will grow, the more they get the faster, it's like an exponential growth kind of strain. You definitely wanna keep that short through long hours of light for a little while in my opinion, depending on your end space. A family member used this strain for a while. They like an airy soil mix real well.

When you transplant, try the towel method I mentioned

1st-- 18/6 is usually for HID's to not only save electricity, but to also lower the heat....
also, you may need better airflow-- the plants should always be jiggling a little from your fans--

for now-cut a piece of a drinking straw almost the same length of the stem and slice it up one side...
open it and GENTLY put it around the stem and push it into the soil just enough to hold it upright.
Your plant wil still jiggle in the straw, but will not bend or break and will eventually outgrow the straw...

But she definately needs more light-- they should be almost touching her, and always on!!!!

Thanks for info Lady Zandra. I am transplanting tomorrow and will pobably bury up to leaves and move light closer. I am using a oscilating fan on low. Once I transplant i will kick it up a notch. I am also moving them to another area. The humidity is 72 and temp is 64 where they are now. So i am moving to a room with more space and lower humidity.But thanks for info.

yes transplant. the thing is, it stretched probably cause u were using cfl or something, and after the first 2 sets of fan leaves, the plant focuses all growth into the root system, which is why u cant see the growth, its all under the soil

oh and soz okes, tl:dr comments cause im studying for an exam, 400wmh is what im running, depends on whether u have no/fan, and no/hood, but i dont have a hood on mine and its about 1 1/2ft, and i only run a fan a couple hours a day and i could lower it about another 1/4 foot, but my plants are a bit bigger. hood and no fan means the mh should be at least 2ft above for that size i reckon, perhaps add a half.

Hey, I've been wondering the same thing. My seedlings grew to about 2" and stopped, with one showing signs of stress(burn, yellowing/white tips). I posted a thread asking for help and I was told A)transplant immediately. B)lower the lights. And C)Ph was off b/c of the Peat Moss. Just moved the lights and transplanted the babies today so we'll see how they do. Try using a less alkaline mix in the new pot? Just a guess, I'm a newbie too! lol
