hey smallsetup,
Great grow so for man! I am going to be starting the exact same DWC diy setup. I have a couple q's for you.
Did you start out on the 18 gallon container from the start? Dont you think that all the water and nutes you put in is a bit much for such small plants at the beginning stage?
What about using the 18 gallon top and putting it over a 10 gallon bucket until the roots get big enough for an 18 gallon tub? This was the strategy I was thinking about going. This is due to saving in water, nutes, and not having to mix that much more nute solution.
I have also read that the smaller the container, the faster the plants grow because their exploratory roots stop searching how far they can go and instead concentrate on plant growth.
I am going to be using organic nutes, botanicare pro grow, floralicious, and big bud. Can i add 35% h202 to the tank without killing the nutrients themselves?
Thanks for any help, I just picked up some rooting powder so I'll be starting my clones tomorrow. Once some good roots show I'm starting this DWC setup and I cant wait. 1st hydro grow, woot!
